Basically, what you are asking is for them to do more than what they normally do to maximize profit and that is just not going to happen... that is the nature of the beast when you accept mediocrity as a finish product and for that we also have to blame ourselves.

Being said that, I agree there should be an option to leave as many empty slots as one wishes to carry.

In my case and as a solo player, with blobs as teammates, I am forced to carry everything I can. If we had smarter ai that we can command separately, then I would enjoy having only 1 primary.

Sorry to point this out, but operators do carry two 'primary' weapons, usually they are just called weapons, and you take what you need, most commonly you carry an assault and sniper variant. Case in point, Chris Kyle normally carried an AR and his Winmag.

Some specialist snipers do carry a backup riffle (M4) in case they get notice up close. We should get the option to equip 1-3 weapons (including pistol only with conceal option) to kep a low profile to blend in while doing recee. Not being noticed unless you pull your concealed weapon.

I think you need to recalculate those weapon weights, a fully equipped MSR is 17 lb (7.7 kg) and a HK416C: 2.950 kg (6.50 lb).

Well depends on the weapon right? For one of the .50 cals, the weight was too less. Besides you need to add ammo as well, which in case of an 20 or 30 round mag (especially when .308) is pretty heavy as well. Guess a .308 round is about 25 to 30 gramms.

So picking yust 2 weapons whach have lesser weight doesn't negate my argument. This only works in Trumps US...

Agree, real life weights are much lighter than the heavy numbers listed. My lightest weight AR setup is just under 6 lb with a 30 round P-MAG and EOTech site, sling and backup MBUS sites.

All depends on weapons and attachments. e.g. the night vision or thermal for snipers are not even in the game as attachments and so on... And sure you will find lighter, but also heavier rifles.

Furthermore, was my argument not focusing the weight alone, but the weight in combination with the latitude.

When I was in the Andeans, it was hard even to climb a small hill. So I’m not sure how anyone will carry that much weight at the end of the day. Probably Trump can…

That's absolute valid. I would just make is cusomizable in seetings for the one opening a coop session. As HuD elements etc should be available there as well.

It is awesome that we can at least discuss these things amongst ourselves even if nothing will come about... bad thing is that a bunch of panties will get wadded in the process.
