Just playing, The Witcher 3...
Realized I walk around a lot looking at the NPC's do their thing... and admiring the beautiful landscapes and details...
When I played the closed Beta, I found I tried to walk, and it was very very slow... Way too slow to ever get used... But I also dont wanna run around like a muppet on fire either... Any way we could see walking pace improved to something as fast as The Witcher 3's?
Also as a pure realism thing... I've never seen a soldier walk that slow... It's like they're doing the drill move 'Slow March'... Squadies cut about at a rapid pace...
Cheers... Its just a little thing, but would make a huge difference in my experience... As sad as that sounds...![]()
As I have said it in another thread, there seems to be a bug with walking speed.
I walked in one of those very shallow streams that was located next to the long stone border (wall) with all the watchtowers. When I walked in the stream, the speed was faster, pretty much perfect. But why would the walking speed increase when walking in shallow water? If any, it should be the other way round.
Walking speed was way to slow. At first I though the game was suddenly running in slow-motion.
Hope they fix it.
