First off I did contact Ubisoft support on Twitter about this but got no reply.
So I'm thinking about picking up GR Wildlands Gold Edition on Xbox One however, I'll be buying it from the Ubisoft store because I get 20% off.

Although it says I get free delivery, will the game be a hard copy (On disc) or Digital Download? I'd much rather have a hard copy just incase something happens to my account and I lose my digital games.
Edit: If it is a digital download, will I get it instantly after purchase so I can get it installed ready play at midnight.
You can buy the Gold Edition off Amazon and it's a Hard Copy so what about from Ubisoft themselves?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I dont blame you. I want to play this game that moment it releases and the only way to do that is buying it digital. I prefer hard copy because i like having the flexibility with my games for selling and trading purposes and definitely for the same reason you mention in case our accounts gets lost somehow

Pre ordered gold ed on Xbox store, its preloading now and will unlock at midnight on release. I much prefer digital downloads. I have most of my PC library on steam, as I have lost count of the number of game discs I have lost over the years. I use an external drive and back up all my digital games for Xbox, so if my internal drive or one of my extrnals dies, its easy to just copy everything back on again.
