I tryed asking this question on amazon, but they comment mysteriously gets removed so I cant get an answer...

So the question is, why cant I get the physical Gold Edition on the day of release like I can for the standard physical edition?

Not completely sure but I think Ubi only have a digital option for Gold Edition. It is grayed out on the site and it isn't hard these days to order a physical version of a game unless it is a collectors edition.

So good chance they are only giving us a digital version of Gold.

iv ordered the physical gold edition on amazon, it just makes little sense that i cant get in on the same day as i can with the standard edition
