    No disarming techiques?(An ideea!)

So I was playing in the closed beta, and I just realised, there are no disarming techinques in this game.

It was quite common in medieval duels and not only.

I: Short description on how it would work

The disarming combo requires heavy attacks that are parried/blocked by an enemy with low stamina and is being attacked by heavy attacks multiple times ,this activates an special guard break that can disarmed oponnents depending on situation.

II: What to do when you're disarmed?

You can make a run for it,till you find a weapon rack that's implanted in key locations around the map and you would get a secondary weapon or you would have to equip an extra weapon that's equiped on you.(many knights had secondary shortswords, even the samurai had an extra sword).

    III.
    How to ballance this?

This only punishes those that are confident in their skill to disarm,as it should be very hard to pull of,requiring certain special conditions (oponent stamina, etc)

This disarm techique is harder to pull of with an small ,agile character like the Peacekeeper than with an Raider, since an disarm requires the enemy to be low on stamina(thus requiring you to manage your stamina even more) and deflect/parry/block multiple heavy attacks from oponnenets with larger weapons(Raider,Lawbringer, etc)

Furthermore, the disarm chance can be reduced by the type of stat you have with your current weapon,if the weapon is more on 'defense' then it's more unlikely to be disarmed,if its more on 'attack' then it,s more likely to be disarmed.

    IV.

    What if it fails?

If the disarm of the defender is failed, the defender can counter it an go on a counter attack, thus it punishes the attacker for trying such a harsh move.

I sounds cool, but peple want to beat the sh*t out of other people and not watch out for their weapon or a replacement (even worse) ...

I admit it sounds cool, because it was an authentic stuff, but people (including me) would also disagree having a mechanic that damages your armour and you have to repair it, because it's simple not the actual sense of the game.

But that will get booring fast.

I only added this to make the gameplay more complex,or when you want to experiment new things.

The are already games that have disarming.

For Honor doesn't go that deep nor should it. The gameplay is fun and has the right amount of learning to it. Quick to learn hard to master.

Absolver is coming out later this year that cover more of that stuff.
