hi my name is connor and i'm currently in Australia and i not able to enter the open beta when i go to connect to the servers it just says it is in maintenance mode even though the beta should be started thanks for reading this and if any answers please reply

The open beta hasn't started yet. From the announcement:

Q: How long does the Open Beta last?
The For Honor’s Open Beta begins on February 9th at 9AM ET / 3 PM CET and runs through February 12 at 5PM ET / 11 PM CET. You can pre-load the game starting February 6th.

yep i know it's started but it keeps saying that the server is "still is maintenance mode"

Now I'm just going to assume you're trolling. But, just in case:

The open beta has NOT started yet. It is NOT open. There is currently NO OPEN BETA.

IT STARTS IN 18 HOURS(-ish) as of the time of this posting.

he isnt trolling, its a thing, i see it too. you start the game and it just opens up to a box that says the game is in maintenance mode. im in the US and I see it too. also doesnt the beta start today? thats whats been advertized.

Edit: ok i guess it goes from friday onward. weird, could have sworn it said thursday

hi i from malaysia..today For Honor have open for beta,but i still can't manage to play.
It show (critical error: ubisoft servers are curently in maintenance mode. Thanks for your patience!)

Please note the beta date and time, the beta goes live in around 8 hours, or 1am for us Australians, I believe it goes live at 9am EST for you Americans. Really important you read the beta release notes Anyway guys if you have any questions please ask and I will do my best to help you. So if you're in the Southern Hemisphere just wake up tomorrow and play .
