so it's ok to find out if a game has a feature as big as pvp in it or not two weeks until launch...? even after being in development for over 4 years...lol

You really misread. If no mention of PvP was made, right now, I'd question what is going on. But PvP is said to be planned for a later time as said over and over after release. So two weeks before launch with no mention of what is going on with that PvP is when I'll start questioning it then. Like I said, they can decide to scrap the entire idea! Companies refuse to say anything anymore until things are SOLID because of the constant complaining from people. It's damned if they do damned if they don't anyway, but they get a lot less **** when they ONLY announce things when it is set in stone. That is a fact and the reality of the situation now - get used to it. This is the reason, take it or leave it. It can suck sometimes but that's how things are now because of certain outspoken people.

You don't know a thing about me. I'm far from casual. You're part of the typical, whiny and self-entitled plague of gamers clearly.

This is first and foremost a single/multiplayer co-op game with a lot to offer. Either buy it at release and wait for PvP, or wait until PvP is released and THEN buy it. What the hell is the problem?? Is someone sticking a gun to your head saying if you don't buy it now, you'll never get to play later? This whole argument has become pointless.

This game needs pvp and a straight no hud mmode or more difficulty. I played ghost diff and was still too easy.. RIP your opinions

Don't forget they will have to implement some anti cheat.
PVP with out anti cheat will be riddled witch cheaters !!
Am guessing they get EAC just like in For Honor and Watch dogs 2

For a game like this PVP is not need. Wildlands is not Battlefield or Call of Duty.

I'm not going to buy it and UBI will lose a long time fan of the game.

If it's implemented at a later date that is wrong in my opinion and it sounds like to me a light bulb went off too little too late. So now UBI is scrambling because they realised it was a bad idea and saw all the die hards jumping ship,, so now they are trying to implement it which I feel was never part of the original plan.

We will see if PvP makes it to launch, I don't think it will be there.
