It seems I will saving 60 dollars and Ubi will be losing another fan of GR then.

And yes due to the Beta release that was when it was made crystal clear in my eyes that PvP was never part of the game.. So after the Beta the fans went off in regards to this and now it seems they are announcing PvP. Kind of odd how this happened after the Beta, you think.

And honestly I don't think you know how long it takes to implement PvP, so stop voicing facts with out back up, and stick to the guessing game just like everyone else.

I have been watching this game day 1 announcement and there was never mention of PvP and many have been asking since the first video put out by Ubi, so this isn't new to them.

I have been playing games a very long time and have been on plenty of gaming forums, reading developer statements and articles as has many other people - a lot of us have a very good idea how long things take. Go research it yourself, it's really not a secret. To seriously think it takes just a month or two to implement an entire PvP version of the game from scratch is absolute nonsense. They have released information pretty slowly over time and only really just relatively recently started to go into detail before the beta and it's still somewhat early. With that said though, a reason they may have not mentioned anything about PvP is because even though they have been working on it awhile, they can always decide to scrap the idea and the entire effort they put into it up until this point. Gaming companies DO NOT comment on things until things are finalized. So that can happen, but at the same time if the PvP is not coming until a month or more after release then it would still be early enough to not mention anything official just yet. Give it some time and just be patient.

Lol...the division is the only game some narrow minded pve gamers can think off when pvp is mentioned.

Farcry 4 had open world...and pvp
Metal gear solid 5 had open world..and pvp
Assassins creed had open world...and pvp
Ghost recon have always had competetive multiplayer! And why stop now?

If Ubisoft take away mp for GR...then they might aswell remove it from Rainbow six series.

Every game that have had mp put in after release have mentioned it before release.
Ubisoft could loose millions on holding such a vital part in the dark.
There are millions of gamers that like to play vs... and multiplayer can add a huge income to the developers in things as cosmetic dlc.

And we still have a month to go before release. I'll start questioning it two weeks from now. If it was supposed to come with release then now would be the time to wonder, but I keep reading it's coming later than release so I don't see a reason to get as upset yet as other people have gotten. As much as I loved PvP in Future Soldier, I have too much fun playing co-op with my family to care this time around. But that's just my personal feelings right now.

If there is no PVP the game dies quick. PVP gives a game longevity. PVE is boring and predictable. Even on the hardest of difficulties AI will never be as hard as battling real people. Also GR always has had PVP and should always have it.

Simply not true, there are plenty PvE only games that are excellent and have been running for a long time.. maybe do some research before you make a statement like this

so it's ok to find out if a game has a feature as big as pvp in it or not two weeks until launch...? even after being in development for over 4 years...lol

Because if the game is sold with the Ghost Recon name on it, then it should have PvP. This is a Ghost Recon core value of the game that is missing and I feel they just used the name to make a quick dollar.

To each his own I guess but you don't sound like a fan of Ghost Recon, just a fan of open world games.

The thing is this is how Ghost Recon was meant to be from the start as the developers idea was for Ghost Recon from the very first GR title.
So GR was intended without PVP as Wildlands is now, a very big open living world.

so you cant demand it need PVP or else its not a real GR title

If the game had any PVP in it from release they already announced it, so no PVP at release ... however you might get a PVP DLC/Update after release but how soon after we dont know and have to wait for it.

This can also mean Co-op Races, leaderboards for co-op or any other co-op competitive gameplay that doesnt need PVP in it, that line doesnt say "PVP" and if they meant PVP they said PVP instead of "competitive multiplayer" ... not that it cant be PVP, but unlikely they meant PVP in that line
