The problem was, that you basically used two combos.
- guard break + bleed (wich is hard to counter for most people on console)
- sidestep + bleed.
Both are basic but relatively easy and economic to use. The first one could even be used as an opener. Without a penalty on sprinting, you were able to dominate duels.
This, to me, makes zero sense. You claim that people who endorse this nerf, which I do believe in some counts is fair, have lost over and over again to PK. Yet the game isn't out, and it was a technical test. I mained Nobushi and I could see why they took some health away, since if you're good you don't let the enemy in close in the first place. But after playing a heavy (among other classes) against a PK and having 75% of my life drained in one triple stab--ridiculous. You don't have to agree, because Ubisoft did after weighing the data. Moreover, why cancel the preorder over a class you got to play maybe once during a closed beta? I've been waiting for this game since it was announced and I -love- Nobushi and Shugoki - even if they nerfed the ever loving **** out of them, that wouldn't lessen me trying to find a way around it to play on par with other people. Keep in mind the majority of players don't learn their full kit anyway - they just spam what they see works on the class that it works best for. Lots of newbie Orochi and PK that test using it just to exploit the previous kit. Now, if you're willing, you can set yourself apart by learning to use it effectively the way it is. And to be able to use sidestep + heavy + bleed u need to DODGE before, like orochis do like a lot of classes do. Each class has a different style and peacekeeper style is dodging and attacking being fast since she has a low hp pool.
What we are discussing here is that nerfing her whole kit that much makes the class weak if not the weaker, an assasin with low hp pool, low damage with her main damage (bleed) being worst than a light attack.
Dont get me wrong the bleed needed a nerf i reached rep 2 on the closed beta with peacekeeper and im the firstone saying that grab + 3 stabs was really strong and needed a nerf but one thing is nerfing it and another way is making it that weak that makes no sense to use it in any situation (not talking about throwing people off clifts.

The stab is really easy to balance, but u cannot go from 100% damage to 25% damage change and expect it to be balanced.
They just need to nerf the stamina comsuption of the guardbreak + 3 stabs to make it able to use 1 time and reduce the bleed damage of that combo about 40% not 75% and let dodge + heavy + bleed the way it was since u need to DODGE the enemy attack to be able to hit it against normal people (risk/reward mechanic), because lets be honest here you can counter guardbreak that before getting hit, the PK need to time properly the x3 stabs and i dont see that much people doing it on the closed beta AND u can BLOCK the last 2 stabs which i almost saw noone doing it.
Right now you have a combo that consumes 1/3 of your stamina pool u need to time it properly, it can be blocked and deals less damage than a light attack. Now be fair is that balanced?
And i repeat they nerfed all her bleeds not only grab + 3 stabs.

- theres the forward lunge, which is probably the easiest attack to counter in the whole game as its always from the top and the animation is easy to spot
deflects in general are shared with all assassins, as are side-dodge-attacks
the peacekeeper needs something to make her interesting... not just pure dmg (which she IS lacking now though), but some combo that makes her unique.
berserker basically has the same problem -> its too easily countered by a decent player, but at least the zerker CAN do decent dmg because hes not depending on an overnerfed bleed XD)
