Will matchmaking options be available in the full game?

In the closed beta i was regularly facing against player with red or yellow which caused many lag issues. I guess matchmaking was probably more lenient for the beta but still

The matchmaker starts off with strict latency and skill settings, but relaxes them over time if it can't find you a game. When the game goes open I'm hoping you'll see far more perfect match makes then with the limited closed population.

Mine relaxed in ~2 seconds. I'm hoping for an option to keep strict settings.

Red = restricted Nat Green = Open Nat

If everyone could take the time to Open their Nat then we wont see connection error / host migration etc... but most poeple wont care or dont know how to do it. I hope someone will make a guide for which port you need to open.
You are right that "Red / Yellow connection dont always mean the dude has a bad internet" but it's not that easy solution to just tell people to open their NAT.
First of all Ubisoft´game engine is designed on unfriendly multiplayer ports. This is the important reason why so many people have issues with their connection on Ubisoft´s games.
Secondly: Depending on your internet provider, router or other reason the NAT will be restricted and there is nothing you can do about it. In a perfect world your provider give you free hands to open any port you want or change the security level of your router´s firewall, adjust your upnp etc..
I've seen tons of topics from other Ubisoft MP games were people have no issues with any game but Ubisoft´s games in multiplayer. This issue with strict NAT will be here as long as Ubisoft decide to create a fully supported multiplayer engine.

If you are seriously desperate and can sacrifice ms, fps and lag just to play any of the Ubisoft´s game in co-op or MP you can download and try a VPN called purevpn
It'll tunnel your connection and by-pass some of the common port issues. I cannot as a forum member guarantee that this VPN will work. What I can guarantee you is that it's probably, if not the best gaming supported VPN that is out there.
Expect a ping increase between 0-60 ~ and obviously some FPS reductions due to the increased ping
