You can as long as you can find the locations of ubisoft's game files. You can find it in the settings.
Once you find it, paste it in the directory.
Then open uplay's library, click on "located installed game" below "download"
Uplay then detects the game files, and can find any corrupted files of that game.
If it does say there are corrupted files, verify it again in the properties section, it should install the open beta patch as well as repairing any corrupted files
