Although I agree with most things on this post and of course a year more of work would surely make the game better, the cat is out of the bag and there is no putting it back in for such a long time (12 months). I enjoyed the beta regardless and none of the things mentioned or things I personally noticed are game breaking for me.

And what would be? What would be a game breaker for you? Just curious I guess.

That is only the case BECAUSE they were too lazy to implement proper door breaching which has been a standard feature in pretty much EVERY stealth game that was released in the past 20 years...

No, how could you say that ?! It's only because it's too hot in Bolivia but they're too poor to afford themselves air conditioners...
    it was sarcasm

The largest three problems to plague this game -

The AI is trash, and they can't possibly fix this in the span of a month.
The Driving is utter garbage. They might be able to fix this, but I doubt they will.
The Missions are repetitive. Physically impossible to fix. This is core to the game and would practically take a full-redesign of the entire game to fix.

I'd say delay it, but it won't happen.

    How is the missions repetitive?

    -Intercept convoys

    -Kill targets

    -Capture targets

    -interrogate targets

    -Destroy objects

    -Steal objects

    -Free hostages

    -Gather intel/evidence

    -Defend a position

    -Escort a person

    -Plunder supplies

    What more do you want?

There are some good and some bad ideas in this post, I want to comment:

    Drones:
Good idea. I would have removed 3D spotting entirely, but this seems to be a good alternative. Additionally, the drone should use batteries and no cooldown timer, which can be refilled e.g. at the ammo box. Currently, a ghost can spam the drone all over again. Moreover, there should be much less equipment slots so that the player must choose between mines, drone, C4, etc.

    AI:
Well, this is one of the most critical issues IMHO. I’ve never seen an enemy even flank. There is no need to be tactical with this stupid AI and thus the game is more “Just Cause” then “Ghost Recon”.

    Stealth:
All true. Metal Gear is much better in this regard.

    Gunfights:
I agree with some, but the cover system from Division?! Please not! And the killstreak feature? This is no CS either! Notifications for kill streaks and longest shot? For what, the narcissists? For me it’s much more an issue of realism (or the lack off).

    Weapons:
Mag size to small? In comparison to what? Definitely not reality! Which gun as a smaller magazine then in RL?

    Environment:
Yes, it would be great to have some real effects bound to weather. For example, snipers should be heavily impacted by wind and humidity.

    Breaching doors/weapons.

"Add ability to breach doors and take out enemies, or throw in a frag or flashbang and close the door.

    Weapons

    - Bullet velocity needs to be a little faster.
-Mag size of ARs and SMGs are way too small.
    -Add smoke grenades."

I agree with the above text 100%, and a good amount of the rest the post. Door breaching didn't seem very easy in the beta. The game would benefit from some manner of door breaching gadgets, and functionality. Flashbangs also don't seem to work long enough on the enemies they seemed to be back to normal and shooting accuratly after only 1.5 sec-2 sec.

    Hello mates,

Regarding the issues OP mentioned, they definitely have to postpone the release. I'm glad such players could take part in the beta.
Here is my review of the Closed Beta. It took me time to assemble it a in a cohesive manner and to feature some pictures.
    [Updated]Full review link with pictures : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing

    The Gameplay :

General Smoothness : There is something slow about the game, the animation seems to be re-started the whole “animation” even if we stopped or re-trigger them half-way (for example “aiming” “double-tap”). What I mean is look how BF, CoD and even Rainbow Six manage to do, it’s smooth transition between aiming, moving, crouching but also going forth and back between the three.
Movement : It’s nice to be able to climb things up. But some objects were like not programmed for being climbed up even if they could. For example stacking a car next to a trailer, climbing on the car but unable to do so on the trailer even if the height is obviously low enough. I lost a super helicopter that way (landed on a roof). Look at Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs or even Prince of Persia. See image below to see the point of ot being able to climb low objects:

The Weapons : Pretty comfortable to use. Again it’s not completely smooth. The angular speed, the linear rotation, it’s coefficient and the zooming action are not good. The reloading animation always show a complete “empty” reload, it’s inaccurate. However there are many weapons and even some special signature remixed editions. Nice touch for collectibles. It would be great to have more through updates though. Far Cry 2 had the weapons wearing out, since Wildlands features a similar “cosmetic” system, it would be nice to add that feature to the game, as a difficulty setting at least.

    The Storyline and Characters :

Main plot : The story seems like a remix of Just Cause : liberating the people and dealing with mafia but more serious. But beware not to make dump plot twist, or linking everything in a comic or worse rushed manner. Like when we liberate the first hostage and how it looks everybody knows where to look for from the start. It’s basically a run to the mission icons, and not exploration and “espionnage”, “over-watching”, “scouting” and so on.
You should inspire yourself of what Ubisoft did with Splinter Cell, 1 up to Conviction, and Far Cry 2 : it was a long story, but worth it if you dig, about colonialism (with weapons dealer) oppression and survivalism of civils in a war torn country and poverty. There was some real compassion about it.Also take example of some other Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed or RPG products (Mass Effect 1, Planescape, Oddworld (for the exploitation, slaughter and slavery part, which is deeply touching) or ACI and II

Background : It’s a nice touch you included many extra as documents, audio notes and so on. Beware not to make it too goofy : For example the radio public announcements where they openly torture someone is a bit off (unrealistic and unpleasant). Watch Dogs 1&2 is a good start.
Also the audio note from Il Yuri where they talk about the dead’s men “bonner-banana” is really awkward, it brings nothing to the story or the characters and is absolutely unbelievable that such a moment could have been recorded (plot-wise)

    Extra :
Karen, she doesn’t look so credible. She lacks a proper feminine look. Overhaul her aspect and up her sex-ody and mind appeal is a start, I mean it feels inconsistent, and the voice is kind of decaled.
Rebel leader : What’s up with his goofy looks, what he wears on his head. He doesn’t portray a real leader look or charism.

    The Visuals (Graphics) :

Assets : They are pretty detailed, focus has been put even into small details, it really pushes it like a cinematic game. For some reason, one first person mode it doesn’t feel as detailed, at least one consoles. Many objects are not present or almost random. (A microwave oven and a PC next to each other with an oil tank ??)

Textures : The clothes textures are incredibly detailed having that much gear, and some are even licensed. It’s a great step toward customization. Reminds me of your RB6: Vegas 2 customization model.

Damage model : The soft body physics, and deformation is nice. The vehicles, especially the cars get dirty. I really appreciate that air vehicles doesn’t easily just explode just like that after a collision like Just Cause. It was too easy to die because of a little touch, which is a simple way to get away and no to deal with something more realistic like GTA V
    The Environment :

Map : Feels like Just Cause again. Lots of military units and Santa Blanca’s cruising around mainly. But military bases are everywhere, and buildings resemble too much in towns. Being able to enter in flats, buildings and other landmarks add a lot of immersion and integrates well with that “wholeness”. Add more rocks instead of terra-forming the cliffs, maybe some caves.

Exploring : The impression of greatness is great. I wonder if you did something to make a great feel if one goes on hiking/bouldering the whole map (everything on foot-walking). Watch out on that blur (depth of field) effect, which make things looks distant but they are in fact way closer. It’s gives false perspective. One should stretch the terrain of the map so it actually takes longer to reach sights and spots
Assets : Very good overall, nice terrain, the cities feels like villages. Buildings are ok quality but like said before they need some interior refinement.

    The Vehicles

Cars : Great Off-roading and climbing capabilities, it really feels great to drive off-road, although a bit on the arcade-unrealistic side. Why don’t you use The Crew, Watch Dogs, Trials or even Driver’s physics to handle the vehicle simulation.
The steering of the vehicles is horrible, it’s not only a lag issue, the actual steering persist even when we release the joystick. Like we do an aborted move with the controller, but in-game the car actually still does the whole steering. Very imprecise and reflexes unfriendly.

Variety : In general I do not find vehicles to be that varied. Land vehicles represent a diverse group. It’s nice to have variation in both civilian (trim levels, motors) and military vehicles. I find however lacking of diversity among the same group. There is “only one” SUV, Sedan, Jeep, Station Wagon, and so on. There are few boats and large ships though and it seriously needs an improvement considering how much rivers and lakes Bolivia has.

Helicopter : This has been said many times, but the controls must be unlocked. We have to have roll, yaw, pitch in order to maneuver aircrafts properly and adjust movements. Also an helicopter is able to climb up as we push forward (to a greater extent to what it actually is capable of). A hook system to grab objects and drop will add a layer of tactics.

Planes : Same as above, plus more aircraft and bigger ones would be appreciated. Some as big as that we could fit vehicles in them. Still the map as to feel “greater” and “expanded” as it is. I mean the feeling of travelling, since planes should offer nice vistas.

I like that a headshot was a headshot and a kill regardless of the strength of the enemy, and I enjoyed the customization of the character and weapons I hope there's a lot more in the final game.
However, me, and a lot of other ppl, really love this game and want it to be the best so it’s frustrating seeing a game with so much potential feel unfinished when it’s about to be released.

I get it, it's one of your biggest maps, but GTA 5 was also created in 4 years but your map is almost 3 times the size of theirs. You need at least one more year or else you're going to lose a lot of sales.

Here's are some of the best ideas gathered and what you can do in 1 year:

    Drones:
    • Should only show "last known position" of enemy unless the drone stays in the air and keeps eyes on a target as long as the battery lasts. When the drones run out of battery they land somewhere and you have to pick them up to recharge it OR the drone returns to play when the battery is in a critical state. Permanent location of enemies feels like wallhacking.

    AI
    • Allow custom outfits
    • Allow each member to have different loadouts (e.g. sniper, support, heavy, rush, etc.)
    • If stealth allow AI to ask us which target they should take out if they have an open shot on one or a few.

    Stealth
    • There should be different detection rates between the surrounding environment and the clothes you wear (i.e. the more you match your environment the slower the detection and closer you can get.)
    • Add melee weapons such as knives that can also be used for stealth kills.

    Gunfights
    • Ability to evacuate civilians during a firefight. There should be times where the enemy holds a civilian at gunpoint or uses them as a body shield and you fail if you kill the civilian. We should have an objective within the firefight to evacuate civilians and make sure they’re protected in a firefight or tell them to get down.
    • Fix the cover system. Just copy the Divisions cover system and you’ll be fine.
    • Add ability to move dead bodies.
    • Bodies should not disappear or not so quickly.
    • If one person gets detected, the whole team shouldn’t automatically be detected.
    • You should be able to break line of sight if spotted and enemies scout last known area.
    • Add +100 kill scores and streaks when killing enemies, and +150 for stealth kills, bonus +25 for headshot kills.
    • Add notification for kill streaks and longest shot.
    • Add ability to breach doors and take out enemies, or throw in a frag or flashbang and close the door.

    Weapons
    • Bullet velocity needs to be a little faster.
    • Mag size of ARs and SMGs are way too small.
    • Add smoke grenades.

    Enemies
    • Enemy numbers and difficulty should be scaled to the number of ppl on the squad.

    Driving
    • You’re tired of hearing how bad it is, just copy GTA 5 controls.
    • Allow driving in first person
    • Option to autodrive, where an AI takes the wheel or we can autodrive and use a sidearm to fire with if need be.

    Helicopter
    • You’re tired of hearing how bad it is, just copy GTA 5 controls.
    • Needs crosshairs to shoot.
    • Add fast roping from helicopter

    Lobby
    • If playing with a partial squad, have option to fill the other spots with AI and make one person leader of them or assign which members have control of each.

    Movement
    • Stay crouched if you were crouched before jumping over a wall.
    • Animation after revived is too slow and player should have the ability to stay crouched and not just automatically stand.

    Death
    • When you’re down add ability to move camera and switch to other players view.
    • Some weapons should remove body parts, especially if you down an enemy with a mounted gun

    Environment
    • In-game clock and ability to "sleep" and fast forward time to choose to approach a mission in the day or night.
    • An option to toggle "weather affect on player", which is wearing appropriate attire for the environment should deteriorate or normalize our stamina and response time. (e.g. wear warm attire in snowy climate)

    Map
    • Grey out undiscovered areas of the map to encourage people to explore.
    • Add option to use mini-map only for gps navigation without enemy locations for those who want more realism.
    • Tacmap needs grids and coordinate system: x-y coordinates, altitude, village name, mountain, river, bridge, and street names.

    Graphics
    • Enemy gunfire looks like paper
    • Add more colour and depth to explosions
    • Blood spray and puffs should be more detailed
    • Add bullet holes like Division
    • Burnt enemies from explosions should be more detailed

    Sounds
    • Explosions sound hollow

    Exploration
    • Intel should reveal general area of items to be tagged and weapon caches. It shouldn’t reveal pin point location, we should have to discover this for ourselves.
    • If we find a weapon cache, we should have to extract it to send it back to our base. In that time enemies we’ll be aware of our location and we’d have to defend it.

And this is just some of the main suggestions most people have. Ubi devs I know it’s been 4 years in the work and one of the biggest maps, but something this size and has this much potential deserves more polishing so all those years will be worth it. Most ppl are frustrated because they see how much potential this game has and if we get something that doesn’t feel finished we’ll be disappointed and you’ll lose money. There’ll be no winners. If you guys delay this game release for another 6 months to a year I’m sure the whole community would not mind at all, in fact, they’d probably be more happy you’re listening to them and see your efforts to give them the best experience. Hope you guys listen.

Let me know what you guys think of the list!

Edit: Took out weapon categories (e.g. common, rare, legendary, etc.) as ppl noted it's not a looter so it wouldn't be appropriate for this game type.

Everything listed I 100% agree with! One more thing to add though.

Allow for individual squad mate commands. Meaning on the command wheel, there are 4 commands for your team. There should be each ghost and "all". After you select who or all, THEN the commands. That way you could order two to follow, and one to stay back. Or whatever combination you would like. This is a MUST in my opinion
