IR Lasers and No HUD / Ghost improvements

I posted two topics about all the lacking features, the enemy and squad AI, driving/flying... but they always get moved. I agree with 95% of what others have already written here in the last 2 days, so won't go into it again. But I want to focus on details and I do think GRW needs this urgently, especially since Ghost / no HUD is so much spoken of. Some of these are actually bug fixes too.

    Ability to restart the mission
(at any point, maybe possible only by game host?)

Ability to sleep/wait and pass time
For 6 or 8 hours at a time. Essential for doing night missions or attacking compounds, at least in the early game. Maybe add a context button at all safehouses (the doors) through the map to wait/sleep (easy solution).

    Visible (IR or not) Lasers.
I used both pistol laser attachments in the Beta (found out of map) and could actually play with full HUD off, including no crosshairs. The 3 point laser dots are very well visible which makes it perfect for those who want to play no HUD/no crosshairs.
However, I would like to see you improve the laser line itself during use of NVG/night, the line is already there, but barely visible. Just ramp the opacity up 100% and make it brighter or white on NVG - this way we would get a fully working IR lasers through APTIAL and PEQ attachments that are already in the game. This is a 10 minute fix in the code and would go FAR in terms of realism and actual gameplay when playing on no HUD, making you more aware of where your teammates are. Just make sure lasers are fully visible to all players (I haven't tested it in coop).

    Working/blinking IR Strobes during NVG
This might be a bit far fetched (meaning it will never be done), but it's also an essential thing to No HUD gameplay where you have no markers for your team mates. The IR strobes are already on some of the clothing options. Not saying you have to rework all clothing item models and add a IR strobe, just add a blinking bright flash to all your squad mates when using NVG, or at least to those who use clothing items that have IR strobes (Fast Core helmet and two of the backpacks).

    No HUD item select
With all HUD off right now, players have no indication of which item/gadget they are using. It's impossible to know if you'll throw a grenade or fire a flare gun. This needs a fix. Maybe have just the item select HUD pop on for a few seconds whenever player changes items and then fade away.

    No HUD Mission Sensitive Info
Even if the full HUD is off, there must be some pop on notifications for mission sensitive information, whenever you are near objective and something is happening. Since many of us will play full game with no HUD, I fear we will miss out on most information & story. Crucial things like timers have to be showed as most of the time I had no idea some missions are time sensitive and have a 1 minute countdown.

    Rebel Support Selection
Not sure if this was just in Beta, but I unlocked some rebel supports to level 2. I would highly suggest adding a selection for which level of rebel support you wish to spawn. By this I mean, when I had level 2 Rebel Vehicle Drop off, they would always drop & leave an armored SUV. If I had level 3 skill, they would always drop off a helicopter? If so, this might be inconvenient as sometimes players might prefer a ground vehicle over a helicopter.

    Flashlights
Not sure why flashlight attachments aren't in, is it due to graphical resources? Are they in for the full game? Some towns and areas are too bright to use a NVG, yet too dark to see well and flashlights would be much more usable. Just add a generic flashlight attachment option to pistols, AR's and SMG's.

    Map and markers
The player waypoints system in Beta is quite hectic to be honest, unless you have the HUD on and see who placed them. You can keep it as it is, but I would highly suggest adding few marker graphics and ability to drop them on the map. Still you can limit it to 1 waypoint per player, but make it by holding X (on PS) or right click (PC) on map screen, that players can select a marker/waypoint type. This would go a long way in terms of mission planning with team mates and when playing No HUD, where the game map is actually a HUGE reference and a usable tool.

    Flare Gun bug
When firing a flare gun, half of the time there is actually no flare ejected and flying down. It just spawns on the floor. This mostly happens when firing it from a prone position so I'd call it a bug.

    Respawn Options
This has already been extensively talked about, when you die in Beta, you can only spawn on team mates in coop. Urgently add the option to spawn to the nearest safe house too for the full game.

I completely agree with the IR Lasers point.

It makes intra-team communication so much easier in Coop. Plus it looks cool AF. I loved how in Future Soldier the HUD would show your Team's Sync Shot targeting with the blue lasers, except in this case I'd prefer it to be realistic and visible as bright green in Night Vision.

It would be great if your squad AI had IR Lasers that'd pop up when you assign them sync shot targets, but they often take impossible positions and shoot through geometry...which I think would ruin the IR laser effect.
