    Faction Wars

Hello all, just wondering how faction wars work if there's low population on one faction? I mean if there's a faction with a massive population, won't they just flat-out dominate the faction wars?

Yes, they will, as the Vikings demonstrated in the Closed Beta.

Hopefully, Ubisoft will do something to give the smaller factions *cough*Knights*cough* a fighting chance, like an Underdog Bonus or something.

That is an absolute lie, population size does not matter. If a faction has a smaller population than that of another they will get increased war assets. What people forget to do is PLACE their war assets in zones. If you don't place your war assets they get spread out evenly and that doesn't exactly help towards winning zones.

The closed beta opened with the samurai controlling more territory than the viking or knights combined. The vikings rallied against both the knights and the samurai and left the closed beta controlling more land than both the knights and samurai combined.

I've never seen actual numbers across all platforms counting all players from each faction. There is a count from the "generals" stats but that cant be used to come up with hard numbers.
