How do I activate my game on Uplay, because I want to be able to predownload the game before february 14th

I don't think you can pre-load the actual, full game that releases on 14th of February, or at least Ubi hasn't spoken about it. Pre-loads only apply to technical tests like alpha or beta to shorten the time of downloading while the limited play-time of 3-4 days is going.

You can download the open beta right now by navigating to "free games" in Uplay library section and add it to your account to be prepared for open beta on Thursday. However, those files will be overwritten by the full game once it comes out and that will require fresh install anyway.

I am 100% sure. One of the Ubi moderators said that a few days ago here on forums, I might look it up.
