I have not heard anything for an open beta, but that would be sweet lol...might be kinda close to the full release though

There are no plans at this time to do a beta between now and release day. There are plenty of issues that were brought to light that need to be fixed, as defined by the playerbase that got into the closed beta.

Open beta is 100% good advertising. Thanks for closed beta i bought full game (normally i dont buy this game without beta). A lot of peoples play open/close beta and here is good chance to buy full game, it is good job for ubisoft. A lot of peoples test game and then buy game, without beta a lot of peoples dont buy game (beta player = chance potentional buyer, no beta player=much less chance buyer).

In past was a lot of demoversions and shareware games, today is not demoversions and shareware games (very little or rarely).

Really?!? Where are you seeing this? I'm not doubting you, I've just not seen anything confirming an open beta from Ubisoft or the GR:W team...

This is from a Gamespot article a couple of months ago -

"Ubisoft will let you try out Ghost Recon: Wildlands through an open beta coming in the "next quarter," CEO Yves Guillemot said during an earnings call today."

Hmm, wonder if that "open" beta was changed to just this closed beta we are having. Then again, For Honor is doing an open beta just a week after their closed and that releases very soon after.
