So as one of the many people who didn't get to experience the Beta for Wildlands I am curious, will there be a open beta for everyone to try and test out the game? I'm pretty sure the Division had a closed and then open Beta a few weeks later, with all the reviews and feedback I've been seeing about the closed Beta will Ubisoft attempt to fix the issues and release a open one to test servers and such? I really am hopeful this is a good, fun game that a lot of time can be put into, There hasn't been a game out for a bit that can keep my occupied for over a week or so which sucks.
So Ubisoft....Will there be a open beta before the game launches in 29 days? Inquiring minds want to know!
Although while I think there will be an open Beta I think it may be delayed. The reason I say this is because there has been a tonne of feedback and if Ubisoft plan to implement anything from the thousands of suggestions it may take a while to come around, the game itself I feel may also be delayed. In it's current state it's just not ready to be released, a lot work still needs to be done.
There will more than likely be an open Beta, no idea when though
What's with all this "delay talk"?! People don't seem to understand how the gaming industry works nowadays. There is no way in hell that this game will get delayed. Com'on people, marketing is in full effect, the posters have been printed, flyers have been made, commercials are running already. This close to release with this much marketing already running, they couldn't push the release even if they wanted to. Shareholders would go bananas.
Some stuff will get fixed with a Day 1 patch, some stuff will get fixed in the weeks to come and most stuff will never get addressed because it's too late. If you think the AI for example is going to improve, you're lying to yourself.
You're assuming that they're going to actually implement all the suggestions though. I would guess that fixing vehicle controls wouldn't be delay worthy, given the amount of time they have before release. As for actual gameplay design changes that's also tricky, for example, I know people talk about ghost difficultly not actually being hard (I agree), but would they actually take the time to change anything? Would they just chalk it up to being only a 1 skull area? Would they see the opinion as it being the minority rather than the majority? After-all, the disgruntled are always the loudest and some people may actually find ghost difficulty hard.Originally Posted by Enzio_Enzio Go to original post
There are always going to be people to who dislike a game, but the problem is shifting through actual necessity vs personal want. It's between "hey this is a fundamental problem" vs "I want this, because I want the game to be this way," you know?

I didn't say there WILL be a delay, there may not be, I said it's what I 'felt'. For the record I never said anything about not liking the game either, I've never said anything 'negative' about it, just an opinion in the form of feedback like everyone else. I hope too that there won't be a delay, it might get a patch, who knows
