    Wildlands Feedback & Improvement ideas

    As the title says this is feedback for the beta, I'm still locked out of the closed beta channel, like many of you guys. So I'll post this here.

    This is quite long, a mixture of technical glitches but also additions where animations and other things could be sharpened for realism and to make it more immersive.

    Muzzle flashes
    Muzzle flashes suck especially for enemies in vehicles. They are all the same and look ridiculous especially from the air, kinda like old school ps2 minimi muzzle flash.

    Teammates in Car

    if there is an AI teammate as gunner their normal weapon sticks out in front and below the mounted gun, this becomes obvious when they are firing at something.

    Drone

    Been mentioned before but can't switch vision modes on the drone, if you have the NV upgrade and you are in NV when you use the drone it retains the NV but you can't switch.

    AI teammates
    They say when they see a bad guy but they dont tag them, even if that was an upgrade it would save a shed load of time when trying to tag enemies.
    Also hot keys for behaviours, especially things like regroup or hold. Also smarter CQB/stealth options, hand to hand combat?
    Customisation of teammates would also be useful as would setting the combat spacing, sometimes they sit a hundred metres away when its about to be close combat.

    Ready position for pistol
    This should be different, not held muzzle to the ceiling, more held into the chest, muzzle downward, ready to snap back up when required.

    No Tactical Reload?

    Even if there is a round still chambered the reload time and animation shows your character doing a full reload, including pulling the charging handle, racking the slide on the pistol or ejecting a perfectly good round from the M40. And on a further note most modern assault rifles have a bolt catch so after a magazine is emptied the bolt is held back enabling a faster reload, same with all modern pistols. Seeing as this game is all about realism it would be great if these little things were finessed.

    Movement

    I think its been mentioned before but the movement style could have ideas drawn in from the Division, rolling on the floor when prone, the sprint vault, the non-auto shoulder swap. I like the animation of jumping out of the moving car and it would be great to have something similar for diving out of a grenade radius.
    Also stealth kills need more stealth, use a knife or karambit, no need to stand up and choke hold the guy just to smack him with a pistol butt just stab him and be done with it. Also when it says "knock out" it really means bludgeon to death with a pistol butt.

    More clothing choice

    Kind of nit picking here but some more choices in the character smith for things like plate carriers and back packs, love the number of different colours available thats great just wish there were a few more options for plate carriers/vests. AFAIK no one would in their right mind choose the Interceptor body armor, something like First Spear equipment, Strandhogg, Siege-R etc, those guys would love a promotion in this. Also maybe a few more options in eyewear, you have the Revision Locust but not the Sawfly
    Another point is on things like the FAST helmet perhaps having the NVGs come up on the helmets. Or the velcro for attachments like the Manta IFF Strobe or helmet lights etc.
    Ghillie suits need maybe a quick button or at least in that command wheel, secondly some sort of benefit to wearing camo in the field or a helmet.

    Gunsmith
    Lots of choices here, could do with a few more versions of things like suppressors. Love the use of the Silencerco Osprey suppressor for the pistols, could do with some options for the rifles such as the OSS suppressors, these are the top of the line suppressors available for rifles at the moment and they look awesome. Different ammunition options would be an interesting addition, something like Raufoss ammunition for the sniper rifles or at least AP.

    Items
    Ability to pickup C4 once set, rocket launchers? considering how many vehicles there are and convoy stopping etc some sort of disposable AT4 or LAW type weapon. Also the 40mm UBGLs need contact detonation often I see them hit something then seconds later explode.

    Vehicles
    Handling in cars is odd, just too, for lack of a better word, squishy. Helicopters work well although the prescribed shift + w for forward also causes huge altitude loss whereas just w allows for a decent speed without altitude loss but this means there is no way of gaining altitude whilst moving forward.
    Some sort of sensible aerial insertion, I don't want to have to crater every airframe I decide to jump out of. It would be nice for a rebel to take the stick and fly off with the heli so it doesnt just crash into the mountain side. Or some sort of para drop power.

    Anything I've missed??

    Also I would like to see....

    1. When you modivie the HUD that you can put out these shiny orang stuff which marks the enemys bevor you even spot them. I just whant a orang point when i spot them.
    2. More improvment of the IA when going up to ghost. They are still too dumm.
    3. I would like to see a compass, so you know in which direction you walk, when the Minimap is off.
    4. More reward when you do your stuff stealth.

    Sorry for my bad english. These are the Things i would like to ade to the List of Things that should improve to the Release.
