I know it's not the final build, but I would expect the sound effects to not be completely terrible.
Vehicle acceleration: Really, really bad. Sounds like buzzzz *click* buzzzz *click* when going through the gears. Ruins the feeling of driving a 4x4 in this beautiful environment.
Weapon sounds: Sometimes no sound at all when weapon fired or just a poppoppop sound rather then the sound of an AR with a suppressor.
Music in outposts: Really takes away from the immersion for me. Is there an option to turn all ambient music off?
Vehicles:
As mentioned a on a few threads, they can be a real pain. Sliding all over the place as the controls feel really heavy and unresponsive.
Helicopters and planes: Please give us the option to fly them "properly". I understand the need for a simple control scheme for new players to enjoy them, but at least make this an option.
Motorcycles: It feels like trying to ride on acid while being chased by demons.
I really like the concept of the game, but I find that immersion is broken by these issues. And I do understand it's a demo, it's just worrying when it should seem more polished than this even at demo stage.
This is something I noticed as well.
Grenades are HORRIFIC. They don't sound like grenades at all. I mean make them BOOM!
Gun sounds are ok at best. Really could use some work on the non-suppressed gun sounds.
Game has a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see if they can polish it or not.
