How long is SP Campaign? | Forums

So each faction has its own campaign. Does anyone have any idea about how long each campaign is?

We dont know for sure.

What we have seen from the campaign looks great (except that awful peacekeeper gameplay but thats because of a lack of skill by whoever they gave a controller )

but

i doubt that it will be very long or have a great story. I guess it will be like a 300 movie: Setting a nice scene, creating a cool athmosphere, but at the end it might be a bit shallow and doesnt try to be deep. The characters most likely wont have much depth (we play as "the warden" and "the raider", not exactly complex characters , our evil-mastermind apollyon is basically thomas hobbes in chainmail (i am evil because my village was burned), so no surprising stuff here.

So dont expect witcher3 stuff coming your way. But it should be a nice introduction to set the scene for our endless multiplayer war

I personally hope it is not longer than maybe 10 hours, because i want to hop into multiplayer fast But preferences are different and i hope the sp orientated players will have their fun in the campaign !

Can you select your class for the campaign? Can you switch classes within the campaign? (Within the faction, of course).

I am assuming it is chapters. For example Chapter 1 will be the Raider, Chapter 2 will be the Warden, Chapter Kensei. So on and so fourth I hope they do have all the classes in the story so we can practice all their unique skills.

But I am looking forward to the story knowing it is co-op as well.

To get a little bit of an insight into the single-player, check out theRadBrad on YouTube. He's played a bit of the story around a month ago as well as Shoguki because he was able to play with the developers.
I didn't want to check out the entire videos to not spoiler whatever there may be but what I saw, I'll put into the spoiler tab.

You do get to play each faction and the story is divided into chapters, Not entirely sure if what D_cover said is necessarily true, but it may be. What I am certain of is that you get to fight againts A.I. that very much resembles the one in multiplayer, but it's slightly stronger than your regular little soldiers. Also, you can to a certain extend customize your hero in single-player just as in multiplayer. Didn't dare watch anything of the actual story though.

Thanks for the info. So it will use all or at lest more of the heroes in the story. I'm with you on not wanting to see too much of the story. Haven't been this hyped for a game in a while.

I really hope the campaign is a pleasant surprise. so far what ive seen is meh!
