Can we please have the ability to type custom messages on console. I don't see why it's not an option

I don't know about the xbone, but the ps4 also just straight up accepts keyboard input.

I know about usb keyboard I was just curious, why this guy is asking about that and how does he intend to use this "feature".

Or maybe let us make presets instead of "Good Fight", "Sorry" etc. Like that we can write our own quick chat message before entering games.

It really doesn't make sense chat is taken out on consoles. It's not hard to implement. Games like Warframe and War Thunder have full chat support on console. Just plug in a keyboard or use the built in PS4 chat window.

Just want to be able to say something other than the presets that are given at times but that's all we have

I second the idea of custom presets.

If not that, give me some more to say. I would freaking LOVE a button that says (in less words) "HEY J****SS TEAMMATE STOP HITTING ME WITH YOUR HEAVY!!!!" , " or hell, even "I'm on your team fool!"

Some more simplified, utilitarian suggestions that could be default adds:

"Outnumbered"
"Help"
"Jerk!"
"With Me!"




Also, right now when you're dead you can ping respawn requests.

Why not other pings? Like, a "Yo friendlies, the last guy in 4v4 is over here about to respawn everyone on his team and stomp me but you're running to the opposite side of the map,"
