Bad vibes of The Division entering the Wildlands | Forums

Having been a long time Division player I came here to get away from that toxic community. I use their forums a lot and today I found this post:

Just wanted to make you aware and especially those at Ubisoft that the ill intentions of a certain few are creeping their way into the Wildlands. I hate this type of behavior and before this game gets ruined by people like this I hope there is time to implement features that ensure you can't be killed by your own team mates. I left TD because of the greefers and gankers and if its carried over into WL I won't be hanging around for long

You can't shoot teammates, but by spawning a vehicle from the rebel request tab you can kill teammates if you order it on top of the player, and surely there is other ways to do this via 3rd party stuff like vehicles =/

Hope they look into this because world really is full of idiots

It's just a 4 player game though. You plus 3 friends. Unless you don't trust your friends, you really have nothing to worry about. I'm using my time in the beta to find reliable (and like-minded) players to play with upon release.

EDIT: IMO, they should be adding friendly fire for more realism. And, you do know people can be kicked, right?

It's just a 4 player game though. You plus 3 friends. Unless you don't trust your friends, you really have nothing to worry about. I'm using my time in the beta to find reliable (and like-minded) players to play with upon release.

Yeah I know you can kick people, I just don't want the attitudes of certain players to be introduced into this game as The Division has been pretty much ruined because of guys like this. The mechanics that people like this use to destroy the fun for others is what I can't stand

I didn't think you can take fire from team mates (not tried co-op yet) but he was saying that he purposely invites people to his group then goes out of his way to run them over. It's no biggie I know and they're easy to get rid of but it would be good / better if there was no way at all that you could cause damage to your team

Nah, friendly fire is a must for proper tactical shooters. Yes, this kind of beahviour is reprehensible, but you find it in all games of this sort.

it's the kind of game i will play, focus on the mission and tactics, not focus on destroy game of other player, i hate pvp for this, pvp'er has just focus on destroy game play of other, it's a same **** for all game i've played with PVP include in game, always use PVE server

Just so long as they keep pvp (if they add it) on a completely different server we should be fine. The day they mix it up like the division is the day I leave, as I have The Division.

I only play with guys in my Task Force or community. If no one about then i use my AIs. In this game there is no reason to play with randoms.

Simple solution would be, plug in your headset, be social and make some friends or play with the AI teammates. Anyone who still does matchmaking in games like this is asking to be trolled.

Im a long time Division player. Believe you me if there is pvp and a way to grief other players then I will definitely be buying the game.
