Perhaps this was done to promote accessibility, and I get that. Historically ghost recon was a highly tactical and severely punishing game, which perhaps hurt its mass appeal. I'm a big fan of Tom Clancy games, primarily because of how seriously you have to approach each situation. Rainbow Six: Siege seems to take this understanding of consequences to heart and is an incredibly engaging game as a result.
Wildlands seems very fun and well developed at the core (except maybe the vehicle mechanics), but all of the tactical options, stealth and realism is completely undercut by what basically amounts to your team being near invincible regardless of difficulty. Am I wrong? Any thoughts on this?
