So I know many haven't and will not have a chance to play this game. Honestly, I find myself like many, only posting to leave negative comments and I would like to not this time just be blatently honest.
The Game:
So, it basically a new map on a GTA build or so you would think if you play. take gta throw in OPTIONAL (keyword) military combat and theres wildlands. open maps are huge and a ton of fun visually, but your gpu will suffer trust me. My 1060oc runs RSS maxed (except post AA) at 116fps average at 2560x1080. On GRW, on med settings, ..........only 34fps!!!!!!!! no joke stuff is crazy. this is mostly because of all the background image that has to be rendered to the game. So for those who think their new 1060 is killin it, get prepped for an ah sh!t moment! now more about the game. game is fun, you will have to turn up you DPI on your mouse to even get half way decent movement. the transition from third person to first is ok but I don't personally like it. very hard to control in 3rd. Biggest problem is this, if you don't have die hard friends co-oped with you in these missions, it's just plain out not fun. just like GTA without the bling and fun factor. Nothing keeps you on track, other players are just screwing around and dry humping trees,....literally... so for me its a fail unless UBI determines a method on how to create structure to keep players on pace.
NOW, for the b1tch1n part: Ubis' BS time frame to let all the idiots try RSS free and run a beta and due the invitational all at the same time has cut most everybody from being able to connect to the network. They knew bandwidth would be limited but here the low down. the people who have purchased games Like Rainbow Six Siege and have invested money and time into playing and enjoying the game, are locked out so that UBi can try and generate new revenue to their franchises. Here is the kicker. When you log onto RSS and actually get in during a free ":friends" trial period, you will see many "Guest-xxxxxxxx" account user names. Now while they should be new potential players/customers, these are really current users using a second email to login, and wallhack. Simply because they don't cared if they get banned because its a temp account and not their main user name. So us, the paid customer, fight to connect to multiplayer if at all successfully, and when we get on, we are greeted with unlimited hax that ruin it for us. I guess I don't get what executive levels are thinking or if they even are at UBI but maybe its time for a change of "scenery" for the company and maybe a NEW face to lead.
That all I got. ENJOY lol
