So apparently, the Vikings winning the War in the CB meant nothing. Everyone who participated gets an emblem.
New, shiny emblems are up for grabs in the OB, but only for the triumphant faction.
"The Emblems of Old were rewarded to all who fought in the Closed Beta. After game launch, you may redeem the Emblems and adorn your weapons and armor with their distinction. Congratulations, warriors."
"The board has been reset for the Open Beta. Pick up your arms and prepare for the next fight. Only the winning faction players will receive the supreme reward, the Emblems of Power."
Guess we'll just have to win again.
FOR VALKENHEIM! FOR HONOR!
Actually you got it all wrong. The emblems of old have nothing to do with the faction war, they are for the closed beta testers. The faction war in the beta was not a real faction war, just a test that's why it won't give rewards. A real faction war will last longer, and have a more diverse fight. The knights could have won, if it lasted the actual lenght, and even the samurais could turned it arround, but as it was, it was only a testing ground to test if it works.
The real faction war starts when the game comes out , since the progress will be reset after the open beta.
There will be a reward for the faction that won in the closed beta, Ubisoft did announce it just has yet to reveal what the reward will be at launch. As for Faction size it does not matter how big or small a faction is. War Assets are awarded evenly, so if one faction has 20 players and another only has 10, the assets will be assigned to equal them both out in the end.
