So basically your opinion should mean nothing to most people.
Not true from your point of view or is that consensus from everyone.
So basically your opinion matters more because you did like it.

I guess you don't understand how I worded my response..
    So I'll help you out.
"I can respect your opinion about the game if you disliked it.."
This sentence means, if he went into the game with an open mind and ended up not enjoying the game for what it was, then I would have no problems with his opinions.
"But not all the points you made are true."
This means that some of the points he made are legitimate issues with the game at the moment. But some of his personal problems with the game were exaggerated to meet the criteria of his agenda.
"You went into the game already hating it, and you just looked for more personal reasons to keep hating it.."
This sentence is pretty self explanatory if you read the OPs title
"So basically your opinion should mean nothing to most people."
This sentence means the post was not very informative for the general public, some people my agree with the post but they're more then likely agreeing not because it's right, but because it's just what they want to hear. In other words, the post doesn't help anyone besides inflating other toxic community member's egos.

Going in with low expectations certainly does not mean i hated the game before playing it and i have no idea how you can even come up with that conclusion!! You seem to be on some sort of defence crusade thats fine thats up to you but dont put ******** words into my mouth which is simply not true.

It's not taken out of context. You can't honstely tell somebody that you respect their opinion while stating at the same time that the opinion is worthless.

Also you seem to think that nobody can give fair criticism just because they had different expectations than you? Guess what, people can. Whether you agree with their criticism is a completely different topic.

The only thing you're trying to do here is making your own opinion to appear more valuable and more objective. And that's a pretty sad approach.

I have to disagree. I play on some expensive surround sound headphones, and I wasn't at all impressed with the sound. The worst part, by far, were the incessant and obnoxious radios all over the damn place. Then, even when you COULD destroy them all, the ambiance was lackluster. Sound directionality and distance representation didn't feel very accurate, either.

"Went in with low expectations...." read as I'm biased and I'm going to ***** about anything and everything. Low expectations does not mean a jack if you don't make them realistic. Obviously, players who played previous GR games will be some preset expectations so there is potential for disappointment.

GRW definitely has Far Cry 3 vibe to it. I loved FC3 but surprisingly did not like FC4 all that much. They modified the formula somehow, maybe it was background and setting of FC4 that did not tick for me or FC4 was just too much of the same. I just did not like FC4 and never finished it. On the other hand, GRW triggered me from start. I enjoyed GRW closed beta despite its limited content, only mild challenge and limited tactical options. It is good old FC3 but this time in new engine, semi-realistic setting and background story, and 3rd person perspective. GRW also let you craft your own experience much like FC3 or FC4 where the game can be abused and exploited or you decide to play by some rules to make the game more enjoyable.

Last but not least, the feedback should be constructive and realistic. We are less than a month from game release, wasting forum space by demanding to change core game mechanics is just useless. Good and important feedback get lost among so many BS threads where people cry foul on everything from their toaster not running the game properly to not allowing you to micro-manage AI teammates to a fact AI can/can not spot you behind bush.

Question for those of you that say "you can do tactical if you play tactical", or similar type of statement. Is this any different than "you can do Rambo if you play Rambo" if applied to the older GR games? The fact that you CAN doesn't mean that you should. Using this same logic in real life would also hold true, IMO. Thoughts?
