well, a 7.62 round would incapacitate you in a shot at around 400m, it's obvious that in 50 meter one would die because of it., at least it takes a more "realistic" amount than say The Division.

the challenge however is not "can you complete the game?", but "how stealthy can you make the game?", I doubt anyone here plays in full stealth. so until we are all capable of totally, fully undetected and not killing everyone we see, I don't think we can judge it fully

I wouldn't say the game is tactical by any means, I'm just saying that we haven't mastered the controls enough to make it like those trailers showed us. it's challenging to play this one, especially against Unidad troops, they somehow in my gameplay time tried to flank, climb over obstacles, and actually wear a decent armor for protection, plus their QRF is quite fast too

the real problem for me is we can't unlock weapons by carrying them to safehouse and "keep it" for the rest of the gameplay time, I've found R5, MSR, AK-12, all are the weapons I'd like to use in GRW but somehow, we can't have access to them in anyway for now...

On point TC. Although i don't agree that GR(W) can't be an open-world game. The groundwork is there, but there are too many bad game design choices and flaws as TC already described.
My biggest concern is the terrible AI of squadmates and I would rather see an option that I could disable them in solo.

Enemy AI & civilians is on par with 2008 games, if not worse. Driving is just bad bad. Flying is okay but has one major flaw - you can't really fly smoothly at medium & high speeds, making it impossible for players aboard to aim & shoot properly. I tried shooting a convoy off a chopper and almost became dizzy. And gunplay & fighting doesn't feel anywhere close to a tactical game. It's an arcade shooter, face it. And on top of that, there are just too many features missing or implemented poorly. For a stealth game, takedowns are average, slow and holding the button doesn't always work. There should be more CQB & disarm features!!!

I was playing on Ghost with limited HUD. Ghost difficulty is still too easy due to poor AI and health regen. No HUD at all is impossible since you do not know which gadget you have selected (C4, mines, flare gun), so I would suggest making id fadeable. I don't need the ammo count & weapons, but not knowing which gadget you selected is just stupid.

Lastly, I'd like to know HOW we can access the Beta forums. They don't open up for me and I am participating in Beta on PS4. Any help? I'd love to leave constructive feedback there.

My expectations were low as well but because of how people described the game.

    Pros
    Character/Gun Customization
    Graphics
    Open World

    Cons
    Gunplay
    Driving
No Replayability (unless you considering restarting the same missions over & over fun)
    AI bodies despawning/AI respawning
Weapon/Weapon Mods have to be found & unlocked

    Summary
I will not buy this game if it is released in it's current state.I would rather play this as a cheap single-player game than a dedicated Co-Op game.I would not spend $60 unless they fix the voice cuts, stiff gameplay(taking cover/movement),horrible driving/piloting system.Right now,it's all style over gameplay. Also, before someone asks,I have beat this by myself & with a friend on Ghost difficulty with everything but mission objective, crosshairs,& markers turned off.

Bro, you will be able to unlock all these weapons in the full game. Each weapon & attachment has an unlock criteria. So you can't have them all since it's just a beta.

I mean, that's what it's worth to you. The beauty about capitalism is that a product's value is worth what the individual consumer is willing to pay. Personally, I've played all the older Ghost Recon games and I understand that this isn't the same as the previous titles for the most part, however, that doesn't mean a company isn't allowed to go outside the box per say. It's the same mindset I use for the "Tales Of" series. Is a bad game? Not to me, my friends and I had fun playing the beta even with issues like vehicle controls, but is it the best Ghost Recon title? No.

    .

I already beat the whole beta pure stealth on ghost mode...there is nothing hard about picking one/2/3 off at the sametime. all you need is to use the most basic form of tactics to do anything in this game. so no we can judge it fully because this is the game that will be release. there no time to improve the AI, no time to improve the Driving, and no time to improve the open world.

there is a reason why the most basic tactic is all you need in this game...its because it was design to be tactical third and GTA/far cry like first

even in the AAA world this has no where near the polish to match. if a Devs teams wants to create a new game than Create a NEW IP like the division did. they didnt so they will be judge as a GSW game.

same if someone Sells a product as a CAR and it turns out its a bike. you will be judge how good of a Car it is.

you can spend 60$ on it if you want but

-as a open world which = 50% of what the player does is driving GSW failed in this regard
    - the other 50% is being a tactical shooter which also failed in this aspic too. no more you never played the game, they have ghost mode, or anything. its too easy and the descriptions that everyone gave it was right. Its GTA like shooter.

even if I remove the named i still have to judge the game as a Open World Shooter which again still does not have the polish neeeded for a AAA game nor does it fully flesh out any features. hell its so unpolished that my AI teammate holding a sniper is shooting it as fast as an assault rifle. they didnt even get that right. show How late the AI teammate inclusion was.

in short this game does not fit the narrative the Devs try to sell me on.

So was anyone else still playing the beta days after it finished? Because the PS4 was in sleep mode i was able to play until yesterday when i had enough and stuck a different game on.

Sadly it made my mind up even more that this is not a Ghost Recon title and defo wont be buying it.

I can respect your opinion about the game if you disliked it..
But not all the points your made are true.
You went into the game already hating it, and you just looked for more personal reasons to keep hating it..
So basically your opinion should mean nothing to most people.

    This has some comedic value.

I did dislike it and yes my points are true for me.

Trust me the last thing i wanted was to come away with disliking it, I had loved every Ghost game since the very original apart from Future Soldier. I wanted a return to form and this was even worse than Future Soldier.

That's fair enough it's a public forum and for sure my views hold no more weight than yours nor do i expect them to.
