The legacy Ghost Recon games had a great selection of tactical options for the ai. By simply letting you separate the team in two, a bunch of tactical opportunities come up. You could suppress one team and set the other on the attack. The suppressed team would snatch up a hostage, plant a bomb or steal intel in all the confusion the attack team is causing. You could attack an enemy position from two sides at the same time. You can set up a team with machine guns on an elevated position to cover you as you fight the enemy up close. I know it's asking for a lot, really close to release. I wish the gameplay had a more infantry combat mindset. But I do like the new support system. I find the game to be fun still.
From what you all are saying of the squad A.I, its just one more reason for me not to bother buying this game. The A.I in general looks and sounds generic as hell even on 'veteran' mode. I'm also seeing lots of people saying they got bored with the game after only two hours, which is not a good sign for a game that prides itself for being Ubi Soft's biggest open world game to date. There is nothing about this game that lives up the standards that any real Ghost Recon fan would expect from a Ghost Recon game.
If you don't have these commands in the Beta, then its too late to be proposing such a thing now. The game is finished already at this point. For those schmuckes who pre-ordered this, good luck to you.Originally Posted by shadowzelot86 Go to original post
