    AI Squad Tactics?

Given that a lot of us can't actually play this with our friends, (NAT mess up), anyone worked out how to use the AI squad effectively yet?
For me, they keep blowing our cover!!! My last mission, I parked them several hundred yards from the base I was infiltrating, yet they still managed to alert the guards somehow!
Can I just leave them behind & go solo? Anyone actually found them useful yet?
    Cheers

I wish we could leave them behind or just stay where they are when you give the order to 'hold' - they've also blown my cover plenty of times too

Solo is playing by myself, solo with squad should be an option

Their only purpose so far has been being in the way or reviving my when I again got rushed by some *reinforcements* or insta respawning guards at checkpoints. Turning them off should be an option.

    squad is missing features

The AI squad is not usefull, it misses a lot of feature like for example how an AI squad works operation flashpoint. You can't flank, suppress, give individual teammate commands. Also the AI runs through the level with out any awareness of enemies. Also the enemy doens't get allert by the AI.

As a 'supposed' Ghost Recon game, you're gonna have a squad, but I like your idea of having solo as an option.

Yeah, their reviving is kinda useful, though so far they seem all too keen on letting me get shot, rather than covering me, which would be preferable!
Maybe they're keen to show off their paramedic skills eh?

I found the AI squad useless unless giving sync shots. They need to be able to suppress or flank as you have mentioned.

The Command wheel is also not user friendly, you have to stop moving to actually use it.

So far they just stand there and let guys come up behind me and kill me, at times there not even going the right direction.

    AI Squad

I honestly thought we were going to be in control of each AI squad member separately !
Whats the point sending 3 muppets to the same point and shooting at the same target ?
Would be better if we could swap between each of the 4 members when in solo mode.
Or at least control them separately.
