You do make a capture point generate more points by standing in it. That's the reward for defending something you already own. I'm assuming increased upgrade means you make it generate that additional point faster.Originally Posted by Malec1983 Go to original post
I dont get it. I like the Conq Style, I played conq in 2 Betas now but overall he seems pretty weak. My greatest problem is Stamina. While I get endless Banged by Wardens (GB- Double Light- Shoulder Bash - Attack-Shoulder Bash and so on) I Do one Shield Bash, one Heavy and im out of Stamina. I also have 1vs1 Problems vs Orochi and Nobuchi, but thats another Story. Conq Damage is super Weak, when I play Warden, you kill so fast and Stamina isnt a problem when you have an eye on this.
Currently, all I can do with ConQ is blocking Points in Dominion and hoping that I can last long enough 1vs 2+ that teammates come and kill them. And Revenge, yes, with endless stamina you can finally play like a normal warrior ^^. Any hints? Sure you can wreck newbies with the conq, like you can with all classes, but against expirienced players Im 98% of the fight out of stamina, which means no chains, no evade, falling down and no damage. I really really want to like him, but I think he isnt very strong when players know how to ignore your defense.
The timing is very slightly faster than parry. It's a pretty useless move in most cases, though, since you can parry into Guard Break against most classes.Originally Posted by ThePrincePipi Go to original post

My thoughts exactly! I can either start a fight and run out of stamina before I come even close to finish it, or get slaughtered by everything faster first. Then there's the Nobushi, Peacekeeper, and ever so common (and I think fairly OP) Orochi, who can just evade you blows, ignore your defenses, and bend you over. It either needs to cost less stamina or something because you are right, to me, right now it feels lacking. I Feel you, i am a warlord main but i wanted to try out conquer for his overall better defence. but with great defence comes such horrible damage, the heavy overhead into shield bash to heavy left or right to shield bash chain is great. and when you have someone against a wall there is literally nothing they can do about it aside wait for the beating to be over when you runs out of stamina. i think a little work on his stamina is needed imoOriginally Posted by Zywroh Go to original post
Okay! Today I took a step back and tried something new against assassins. They are "counter attackers" for a reason, and what better way to go than to counter a slow, heavy warrior and strike when he messes up? So I've been fighting with two goals in mind: limit the assassins space and don't swing for heavy first.
If you approach cautiously while backing them up to a wall/hazard, they will have to use their stamina to dash, because if they attack, you can block and counter with a wall hit/GB and swing for heavy damage, back off a little, rinse, repeat. Throw in some lighter attacks to keep them guessing, but never open with a heavy, it's too easy to see coming and even easier to dodge/counter.
