Constructive Criticism PC
I see a lot of forum posts saying "this is the worst game ever" Honestly I don't think it's great, but it isn't the worst game ever. It feels like an atypical Ubisoft game. It's poorly optimized. I will list my PC specs below & yes I am running all of the latest drivers.
Overall it isn't anything we haven't seen before as far as game content goes. If you have played any Ubisoft game in the last 5 years you will be instantly familiar with the concepts of the game as Ubisoft doesn't want to move on. Imagine Farcry + Ghost Recon got a little freaky with each other and you are exactly where this game is. The story isn't very compelling either, it's a typical, there's some bad people and they have bad friends and we need to kill them. There is no character development. There are skill trees, and you have already guessed what those look like simply by me telling you that there are skill trees. Essentially what I am getting at is that Ubisoft seem incredibly lazy and are probably in the market for new keyboards with all of the copy and pasting they've been doing.
* The game isn't optimized at all, the graphics are something we've seen before so aren't going to make your jaw hit the deck with amazement, but it runs like they should be.
* The FPS Drops when driving are incredibly jarring.
* If you happen to die you have to look at your corpse laying on the floor whilst you wait for a team mate to bring you back to life. (Maybe a headcam view of one of your team mates, albeit they don't really do anything.)
* If you die or fail a mission you more than likely will respawn on the other side of a large cliff or rock face and have to run around it to get back, Yep, you don't spawn near a vehicle or supply stash.
* The physics feel really dated, and there is a lot of falling through the floor both on foot and in vehicles.
* The vehicle handling is archaic. It feels like the steering is connected via a piece of string you are pulling at.
* Your AI team mates are next to useless, on most of the missions they literally stood, as if stuck to one spot whilst I became Arnold Schwarzenegger and terminated them all.
* Random deaths, when stood in the middle of no where the character fell to the ground.
* I would also say the places you visit don't seem very alive, it feels as if it's a very early access game, there's you, enemies, wildlife, team mates & very small amounts of members of the public roaming around. But they are all very "dead".
I could go on, but basically I can sum this up by saying it's a Ubisoft game, which I think most people who play games will know exactly what I mean. You will be disappointed if it's released in it's current state and will have to wait months for them to fix some of the most simple problems and most will go unfixed.
