The Lawbringer is a large fellow.
I think there could easily be a female Lawbringer. The armor would be helpful in bolstering the size of the model.

The fact that you can change your gender at all is really good of ubisoft.
This is a fighting game, not an MMO.
hell, at its core the 4v4 gamemode is a MOBA.

Name me one fighter or moba that lets you change your characters gender?
Would you complain that Ryu from street fighter is gender locked to a male?
Im all for gender equality, but some people need to just grow up and accept that sometimes in life you cant get what you want, and males and females are simply not the same, and never will be.
Males and females are not the ****ing same. everyone needs to stop trying to make everything equal and balanced and fair. there are strengths and weaknesses to both. The day i take gender equality seriously is the day they let men and women compete in the Olympics against eachother. because why not? we are all equal and need to have the same rights and opportunities in life.

I know you guys must be tired of seeing these posts, but I have pre-ordered the game and would like to know.
I understand that it takes time and resources to rework these classes. I am just asking if it will be an option in the future.

I am a guy and I prefer to play guy characters in games. I imagine a female gamer may feel the same way. Some would say "Just play a class that is a guy." Well, the class I enjoy most and play exclusively is locked as a female.

I could understand the reason more if characters from the single player were an option to select. They would obviously be male or female because they are developed characters. The multiplayer warriors are not developed characters. They are Archetypes that you turn into your own character through customization.

I believe time and resources is the culprit here. Ubisoft would have to reskin, record audio for,and test another six warriors. So its much easier to say "Well you see, every faction will have one exclusive male and one exclusive female character." This is perfectly understandable. My only grip is it seems they are presenting it as something special for the players. I see it more as "Other things were more important".

So as a gamer excited for this title I ask. Will other gender options for the existing warriors be available down the road?
This guy right here, understands me completely.

He basically described my biggest problem with this game probably better than I could.

No gender locks, please, on ALL characters...

I don't care if they add, Female Shugoki's, Male Nobushi's, etc. That would be cool to be honest.

(I'm personally looking forward to Male Peacekeepers )

Jason VanderBerghe said that 'this is a game for everyone', and 'if you wanted to make a black viking, go ahead'. In the game you can make a female black raider if you really wanted to, which is awesome as it's fair to everyone for the raiders, but what about the other classes?

They need to be fair for them too if this really is a 'game for everyone'.

Why are we talking about 'Gender Equality' here?

We're just stating that the gender locks should be removed to make it fair for all classes.

I'm sure this was how it was supposed to be anyway, but Ubisoft had to rush the game for release and the Alpha and Beta phases, so they probably had to remove that from the picture too, alongside couch co-op.

Anyway, yes, males and females are different, I totally agree with you, but, we're talking about a game here, not real life.

Oh yeah, and about the 'don't add Female Lawbringers plz' people, the Lawbringer isn't a Heavy class. Apparently it's a Hybrid class. (I was surprised too)

The Conqueror is stated as the Heavy class for the Knights, and heck, they have no gender lock on that class, so why the others? I'm sure Ubisoft has their reasons, but I mean, 'a game for everyone', said by Jason VanderBerghe, has to live up to what he said.

Plus, in Skyrim, (yes yes, I know dragons and stuff, but hear me out), the Daedric Armour, (even though I don't like it because it's a dark/evil armour of sorts), looks pretty beefy on the Males, and also pretty cool on the Females too. That kind of armour manipulation could be applied for the Lawbringer. (Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying 'add Daedric armour' to For Honor, (and then dragons lol ). Heck no, I'm just saying apply what the Daedric Armour has, male and female counter parts, and use that information to make a Female Lawbringer)

because i assume most people here think they are entitled to play their characters as the gender they want to. because of their real life genders.

if ubisoft allows gender changes on all classes because thats what the people want, i demand the ability to play the game being sexually identified as a tree.
or at least have an option to be a transsexual. Because entitlement.

Oh come on. You know what we mean.

If you really are a tree, go drink some water, so you can grow up. (I'm sorry lol ) Seriously though, that's impressive, a tree that can type. You must be the most famous tree in the world.

Yes, this isn't an MMO, but the fact that they have male and female versions of some classes should be the reason they complete it for all classes. It's a great feature, it just needs to be completed and finalised.

I read a post that backs up my point and it went something along the lines of 'there are two types of players, one that creates a character as a reflection/representation of themselves, to experience an adventure throughout a world in an alternate reality, with an alternate but very similar version of themselves. The other player creates a character separate from themselves, maybe even separate in gender for 'Eye-Candy' reasons, like in a movie, where the character is relatable sometimes, but they aren't you.'

Dude? All of the things you just stated are ALREADY IN THE GAME.

    Your argument is invalid.

Plus, no need to rage, maybe you don't care about these things (maybe anything at all for that matter), but there are some people out there that do, and you should respect that.

This is not a MOBA or Fighter game. Yes it has MOBA elements and yes, it has fighting, but the classes aren't characters like 'Ryu', they are CLASSES, represented by the characters.

(Lol and later in the post you tell people to grow up, but you said that you identify as a tree so, like I said, go drink some water and grow up yourself )
