In my opinion the 4 characters for each side (viking, samurai, knight) is enough. I hope Ubisoft won't make the mistake of making too many characters. You can play with each and it is 12 characters in total. I hope it is not just me who worries about this. Is there anyone else who agrees with me?

I do not agree. The Game should offer more content for this price. If not more warriors at the very least more gameplay modes (which they did). They might add a new race with 4 new warriors in the future. I assure that at some point you will get tired of those 12 available and want to try something new.
Anyhow I think the game is awsome and can't wait to play it!

So in Beta there where 3 factions and for each faction 3 warrior classes.
I red something that deluxe edition has 6 extra heros.
question is just, if they mean access to these heroes like in other versions cannot play them
or the 6 addition heros mean that all of the 9 heros classes are activated in advance and players dont have to pay 500 ingame points to acticate them like in beta
(ingame points can be earned by playing)
or that additionally to the 9 classes there will be 6 hero classes more which we do not know yet

I assume its the second but I dont find confirmation for this

I think only 9 heroes will be available on release with the Valk, Lawbringer, and Shugoki being added in a few months.

The valk and lawbringer are still under NDA so there is almost no info available on them. Their tutorial videos were datamined from the code. That's all that has really been said so far (other than the meet the faction video which has very very vague game play teasers in them).

If you look at the recent promotion videos, it only says 9 heroes.

Um I am very sure that there will be 12 heroes on release.
1. They have said this many times. (Although they have taken back a fair amount of promised things, I'll give you that.)
2. There hasn't really been anything said otherwise.
3. If you are referring to certain videos talking about 9 characters, they are referring to the closed and open beta.
4. On Conan Obrien's "Clueless Gamer" segment with For Honor, you can see all 12 warriors are available to choose from. (Which is also likely the final version of the game that they are playing.)
5. Throwing common sense in it: It wouldn't really make much sense to not have a Vanguard, Assassin, Heavy, and Hybrid for each faction. It would really just be illogical..

12 heroes on release.
6 additional heroes will be added through the year, which you will be able to obtain 7 days earlier and without having to spend ingame currency for if you purchase the season pass.
also, additional maps, free for everyone.
