Of course Oroshi will be nerf, if they don't the game is dead game 1.

Having some less stamina consumptions for that amount of damage and speed is ******ed.

I think that Orochi is working perfectly right now
Orochi has an amazing amount of tech and it is the core of his character

top lights that come out super quick and can be combo'd for what is 1x top heavy damage
Top Heavy on GB to make up for mediocre throw
RipTide strikes for top Heavies that can be used to dodge and attack at the same time
Storm Rush for yet another spacing technique that even be feinted into top light combo or GB
Wind gust for some solid and free chip damage on deflect
Hurricane blast that can do lots of damage and even be canceled into GB or Dodge, or windgust

anyone who says this tech is OP is right
Its OP cause he has weaker defense and a shallow health pool
This balances him out its high risk high reward

Overall i say hes the best functioning Assassin right now,

    PK seems alright
Overall a decent movepool that revolves around an excellent (but gimmicky imo) bleed mechanic

Zerk seems to be the strongest and weakest... best in "low tier play" where people dont know how to block or parry and weak in "high tier" play where people know characters and will punish your mistakes
This is mainly due to dauntless, his passive that strengthens his core infinite chain
Currently it gives you super armor and less stam drain, but only when you combo 4 or more moves into infinite chain, feinting ends it.....
He has an amazingly basic moveset but not alot of options compared to the other assassins

    It really depends...

It really depends on what "level" of gameplay you are talking about...

Orochi is decent against newbies, who panics every time someone quick comes along. Orochi has the lowest stats in terms of HP / Damage combination AND it doesn't have a useful mix up against perfect players.

Orochi USED to have a good mixup in the Stormrush cancel, which is safe and it's a easy 50/50 into GB if your opponent didn't guess right. This can result in ONE HEAVY worth of damage per successful 50/50 mixup game (the fundamental of top level fighting game). After they took away that late cancel potential, they NERFED Orochi to the ground!

That's literally the worst nerf to ever occur to any character in this game so far. The deflection nerf weakend all assassins, but the Storm Rush nerf ensured that a perfect Orochi cannot defeat... a perfect Warden or a perfect Warlod.

This is not a VS figthning game.

If you wan't to have a growing playerbase, Ubi won't focus on "Perfect Player".

Oroshi is unbalanced to hell, and it will be nerfed.

You don't have to be perfect to deal with roaches. You just have to not suck. There's only one thing I want changed about the Orochi, and that is the ability to cancel any recovery into a zephyr slash. Because that negates any risk for them when they're attacking.

    Are you for real???

The whole combat system, outside of dominion is built on 1v1, so much so that it is literally impossible to 1v2 in this game unless you are facing complete noobs or have enviroment i.e ledge, spikes, fire to help you.

Of course they will focus on perfect high level play, because they clearly want to develop that side of the game, which i hasten to add i could easily see the majority of the player base may come from. This is because there is zero stat/gear interaction other than cosmetics therefore it is a pure skill based game, which is a massive draw.

For dominion you have the more mmo type stat/gear based focused gameplay if pure pvp is not your thing, but the thing is they can literally go wild with this side all they like as it has zero effecting on dueling and does not require the strict level of balancing dueling requires due to the chaotic nature of the fights.

To say this is not a VS fighting game is not only short sighted and stupid, it is totally ignoring half of the content and experience the game provides which is PURE VS.

No doubt you think the Orochi is unbalanced as you attack them like you do bots in dominion and wonder why you get annihilated...........learn how they do damage and how to counter them and your tune will change pretty fast.

Again, I NEVER said any of these moves couldn't be guarded against. I said that he has so much movement and evasion built into his kit that he has an unfair advantage. I said that he has so much free damage built into his kit that he has an unfair advantage. You utterly and entirely failed to oppose that conclusion.

In fact, you only reinforced that my analysis was correct...

Just compare Oroshi's engage options against any other characters options. He has more.

Compare Oroshi's disengage options against any other character's options. Nobushi is about the only one who has a similar amount.

Compare Oroshi's free damage sources against any other character's options. Peacekeeper is about the only one who gets a similar amount.

Compare Oroshi's options that mix evasion with damage. He has more.

Compare the speed in which Oroshi executes his damage and the damage that those attacks deal. He is well above the curve.

Oroshi doesn't lack anything. And has tangible advantages in key areas.

That's pretty much the very definition of being over powered.

Anyway. It's not up to you guys to say what is balanced and what is not. When Orochi tops the leader boards in wins he'll get nerfed and I'll have a nice fat "I told you so ready."
QFT. Orochi needs a nerf, badly. He has literally no weaknesses and it is obvious that a lot more care and favor went into his design than went into other characters. He IS a very cool and thematic character, but right now he feels like he should be starring in his own action RPG rather than being a playable character in a multiplayer game. There seem to be a LOT more people playing orochis than kenseis, for example, and there's a reason for that.

    Blabla

Ubi will nerf them, whatever you can say, because nobody will want to be chainkill by a class for ****** with broken mechanics. They want the game to be sold nothing else, so stop arguing thanks you.
