Solo should be SOLO no AI companions

Been wanted something like wildlands for some time. Open world huge list of weapons and so on. However would really like to be able to turn off AI companion and truly experience a SOLO experience. As is I can already see how limited the A.I function is, will be by what I've seen from the Dev team showing of solo gameplay.

I love a challenge but A.I companion will be more of a hindering then a challenge.

    Thanks

Sorry, but . . . no. I've been waiting years for an open-world SQUAD-BASED tactical shooter that actually gives us a squad to command and order. I am quite happy that Ubisoft is developing a game with such a long-lost feature that appeals to us single-player gamers.

I wonder if you can tell them to "hold position" and just leave them in the wilderness and do your own thing?

Then tell them to hold and go do your thing alone. You have the option to do this with out effecting other from playing squad based.

Frankly, with how limited the controls are for the AI, they should allow you to just disable them. Not wanting to "overwhelm" the player with "micromanagement" is a cop-out. This blob-of-guns mess the current structure is is simply stupid and is easily the biggest limitation Solo players will have when trying new tactics.

Whatever you decide to do, your AI support can only come from one direction, full-stop. You can't separate them to flank a spot or to assign one in particular to watch a zone while the other two support you.

I suppose that "play it how you want" mentality goes out the window when you'd rather be a loner.

    👏👏IT'S👏👏NOT👏👏A👏TACTICAL👏👏SHOOTER👏👏

and it also forces you to have a blob of uncontrollable AI with you at all times. Not good. Not good at all.

Edit. What's the reasoning behind forcing players to drag along these AI? Why can't the player leave them at a "rally point"?

The reasoning is that it was too much work for them to care to allow otherwise. It'll be the same reason given if you can't unequip the second primary weapon, because they simply didn't care to make it an option.

He said have the option to disable the companions, why would anyone be against this simple feature... sigh here we go again...

Leaving your companions behind wouldnt work because they always spawn to your vehicle when driving

At least its always the same people coming up with the most ******ed logic, or their sub accounts
