By the way do you think they were called "THE LEGION" for no reason? the knights are basically the roman equites descendants
Yea, but Vocal latin was never spoken by knights. Even after the roman civil war it was barely used by romans themselves. Even though i like latin, and enjoy them using it in FH, it's not something historical.

He’s not saying Überflieger, he’s muffled but it is Latin. He’s saying ‘Te Affligam’ which is Latin for I will crush you.

They definitely did depending on the time period. It wad not their daily languages tho, but latin was known by educated people, and knights where nobleman.
So technically centurion and glad are the only coherent one for speaking only in latin but it is to give the faction an identity. And yes, they do speak latin.

"Ad mortem inimicus" - "no superstes" (lawbringer)
    "miserum" (warden)
    "Para te!" (Gryphon)
"Te affligam" - " te occidam" (conq)
    "Ad profundis" (BP)

That's some example, definitely not german. Only warmonger speak english because she is meta from the start lol

    Devs, pretty please?
After countless hours of tests, studies and careful testing, I can confirm, with a 100% certainity, that the language the knights speak is indeed the language called "latin".

Theoretically they should speak Latin, but as always the English have to add their own language to everything.

To hear a Roman hero say "Ave friend" is frankly unpleasant to hear on a linguistic level.

I know a lot of people don't care and I also know that it doesn't bother everyone in the community, but there have already been people who have created posts on Reddit wondering why the Roman spoke a mixture of English and Latin instead of just Latin.
I honestly think so: Since he is literally a Roman hero he should be speaking Latin not a mixture of English and Latin.
Reductio ad absurdum: However, as many have pointed out even though it's unpleasant to hear, at the "game-play" level nothing changes so the developers won't bother to change the language.
