yes. the way purchasing a uplay game on steam works is that you buy it via steam, then you activate the key given to you from steam on your uplay account, launch it from steam, then it launches from uplay. you still play with everyone on PCOriginally Posted by Exorsaint Go to original post

so it really doesn't matter where I want to purchase from
The Uplay store has a 20% off coupon you can get for 100 Upoints (or whatever they're called), so you can get it for 48 moneys($/Eur/whatever) instead of 60. On the other hand, Steam allows you to refund your preorders until release day, also 14 days after purchase or after less than 2 hours of playtime. Also, Steam has customer service.Originally Posted by Exorsaint Go to original post
That's a lie. 20% doesnt work with new games and pre-purchasesOriginally Posted by supitza Go to original post
It's not a lie, it might however be a regional deal. I used the 20% discount to purchase my Gold Edition yesterday (from Sweden).Originally Posted by LCIlluminaughty Go to original post
I used my 20% off to pre-purchase For Honor for 48$ instead of $60. If it doesn't work for you, maybe it's region locked or has some other restriction.Originally Posted by LCIlluminaughty Go to original post
