    Not overly impressed

I was super excited about this game, looking forward to the beta....but....is it me or does the game look very GTAish? I thought the point was to be a "ghost", instead it's going to be a lot of people just running and gunning. Looks like you can just run in, grab a car or bulldozer or tank and cause havoc. All the trailers looked great and now watching gameplay it looks too similar to GTA or other open world games. I hope I'm wrong and it ends up being fantastic but if not there's always Mass effect.

It's how the players chose to play. Don't be a follower, be a leader. Be A GHOST!

My advice - Ditch any notion this is a Ghost Recon game. It's simply not. It has the name, but not the spirit, and if you keep to the idea that it's supposed to be Ghost Recon, you will not like this game.

It really comes down to how the individual plays the game, honestly. If you want to run and gun on a lower difficulty you can. If you want to take everything out in stealth on a higher difficulty you can. Those options are available to you, on the fly, as a player.

Whereas the game gives you the freedom to play how you want, that doesn't mean there won't be consequences to your actions. Taking a more tactical approach will definitely be rewarded.

Hopeful, been really excited for this game with all the hype just hoping it doesn't last as shortly as the Division did.

    Can you explain this?

Do you mean actually rewards or the reward of satisfaction that we ghosted a mission?

Your actions carry consequences in game.

I'd honestly like to know exactly what defines 'consequences', though. The same could be said about Skyrim, but frankly I found the game's consequences fairly lackluster.

You kill a man? It's fine, just pay a fine.
Even the main storyline quests did nothing to impact the game world.

I fully expect this game to be much of the same. They say "living, breathing world" and "your actions will have consequences", but I suspect the NPCs to be lifeless and nothing you do to seriously affect things. As much as I'd love to burn fields and watch entire towns evaporate to starvation and migration, it'll never happen.

A tad dated, but he touched on the subject itself.

Let's say that Ghosts are exposed too much at their mission so Santa Blanca Cartel will knew that Ghosts stand behind that and start to eleminate everyone who is trying to help you but if you stay low profile most of the time there will be no consequences in the world?
