I know it's a lot to ask now but it would be great if you could include PS4 gamepad support.

Personal preferences make me hate xbox controller with passion; the try-hard reversal of LS and arrows is a sacrilege in my eyes. Yet all the major PC games enforce xbox button layout.

A detection of a PS4 gamepad is not really necessary. A simple switch in the options menu which would replace the xbox button symbols with PS button symbols would suffice.

OT: This could also be done through a mod, but will mods be permitted?

hmm...my pc version had ps4 buttons when using a ps4 controller

What are you using to connect the PS4 controller? Is it on bluetooth?

PS4 controller support already in-game. Its a usb cable so just plug it into your pc and play.
