[HARR18]

Hows it goin' everyone!? My name is Harrison and This is where I will be posting my Lawbringer Cosplay Build.

I've made some cosplay pieces in the past, but never a full costume. So everyone, please give your support and help motivate me for this build!

I will be building in stages to help keep myself organized. The stages are as follows.

1. Research and Measurements (although this step will be repeated many times)
2. Torso / Breastplate -Done-
3. Shoulders
4. Skirt / thigh parts
5. legs / Boots
6. Arms / hands
7. The Helmet
8. Fabric and other non-hard parts
9. Detail pass
10. Painting and Finishing (The funnest part hah)

Since the guy was first announced back on 1/18/2017 there is a supreme lack of reference pictures. But i'll post the ones I have found along with some sketches about my assumptions on how things look. If you guys have any good references please send them my way! Hopefully Ubisoft will make my life simple and easy by making a reference guide for the Lawbringer just as they have made for the other characters. Anyhow, let's get to the pictures!

Can't wait to see the progress and final product! Cosplay rules. I'm actually working on a Warden Knight build, myself. I hope to have it ready by the 13th for a midnight release party! I'd like to post pictures too! Keep it coming!!!

Progress so far:
I'm still staring at references over and over again. Right now I'm working on re-creating the basic design for the chest piece. Ill post a pic in a bit containing my sketches.

Alright! some progress:



So this is what I can gather of what the main segments of the armor look like. The sketch on the bottom right is what I think the template will look like for half of the front chest piece.

So I made a template and cut out and glued two torso pieces. My template was too long in a few places but this shouldn't pose too big of a problem. I've left enough extra to trim down on parts to make it fit more. More specifically im talking about the top, Bottom, and arm holes.

So i've been taking a break and looking up more For Honnor videos on youtube, and I've found more instances of the lawbringer.

I realized that the co-antagonist guy has Lawbringer armor. From this I assume that his more decorated armor will be unlockable. Even though I really like how decorated it is, I'm not confidant that I can replicate that detail. Afterall I'm working on a budget and don't have more advanced tools.

That looks like a fine chest plate, tbh.
Personally, I think the helmet and pauldrons are the best part of the Lawbringers set. (And those emote animations were awesome! The "giddy up" dance at :38 was my favorite. )

I am willing to forge a real iron version of the lawbringer's armor and i am wondering if you could keep some of your pateron for me or if we could get in contact to get some information. It would be nice .

samwil0 Dang, Yeah ill keep my patterns as I go! That would be crazy awesome to see happen. Not gonna lie that makes me way more motivated to get this thing done! Could you send me a picture of your shop?

Chark19 Thanks man! I'm excited to build the shoulder pieces. I want to be THE HUGE.

After some shaping with a heat gun; I have to say that the silhouette looks spot on so far.
