The shape of the original Nobushi mask was by far my favorite out of what I've seen, but I didn't see it in any of the rare gear that I got. Was it / will it be possible to find a better version of the common-tier mask like you can for the other gear?

You can always change the look of a higher lvl gear to the lower lvl one.

This game is said to have many more maps and many many more customisation elements, hopefully we will see "WAR's"(Main antagonist, the ultimate enemy that started the conflict between 3 nations) helmet and shoulder pads in the customisation menu for wardens, damn they looked great!
