    Character Persistence SP/Co-op

If I play ten hours of singleplayer, accumulating various weapon unlocks and skillpoints, does that all follow me if I then join someone else's co-op game?

Also, if they are hosting a brand new game with no story progression, and I've killed the first two bosses, is the host authoritative on what story missions are available? What happens if we try to take on a story mission I've completed previously on my own?

I'd like to play this game with some friends, but we have differing levels of available playtime, so I'd like to know how character and story progression is going to work as we swap between single player and cooperative sessions.

    Thanks.

Your progress is personal, it's taken with you into coop. You can redo missions again and again so no worries about that.

Thanks, I tried finding the answer to this in videos and preview articles, to no avail.

Question -- Refrence to Co-Op , does anyone know if there will be able to have a match making system to allow us to join random people and play co -op play , with people we don't know . In case friends are not online or if friends are not getting the game ? Just curious to know if it will be easy to join people . Thank you .

Not to be taken as gospel but I have seen in quite a few of the newly posted videos over the past few days every once and awhile you would see a prompt middle of the screen left hand side that said something along the lines of "Hold X to join public coop session."

Edited to add link to video posted earlier by SwiftyLovesYou... 21:43 into this video check left hand side.
