in 4v4 you can all be a same character.
    in 2v2 you can't.

Playing devil's advocate here, are there any cheese compositions that exist within 2v2 if they allow the same heroes on each team?

When I think about, I would say "no", but I don't have as much experience with all the heroes as some of you might.

There might be a way to perfectly stunlock an opponent when you do the same attack in turns and perfectly time it. However I feel like this is not only incredibly difficult to pull off but also possible with different heroes.

I was just shy of 3rd Prestige (Reputation) with my Warden during Closed Beta and have no intention of playing as a different character. We both have been insanely excited about playing side by side as Wardens with the Knights and play the Beta to find out you cant do that? This makes no sense to me. We are Faction Knights, and Role Players so being a Warden is a must for us. One of us has to compromise and play as something completely different which doesn't give XP or Rewards for our Wardens?! I see the similarity to games like Mortal Kombat not playing the same character. But with Customization these characters are ours. We aren't playing a named character like Raiden or something? So anyway, please for our sakes and everyone elses, remove that restriction before launch. Other than that, Beta was AMAZING! Very excited for release. Feel a hole in myself without For Honor now that i've finally played it! If the rest of you agree, lets hear it! - Maclane0911, XBL

I almost agreed, but then I realized that'd be playing against two cancerous nobushis every match instead of just one.

Yeah I couldn't figure out what had gone wrong when my Peacekeeper got greyed out in the Brawl selection screen. Thought it was a glitch at first. Went with another character and then realised when my team mate was a Peacekeeper what the problem is. Couldn't see at the time why this should be a thing, and still can't. Make it not a thing, please Ubisoft.
