Ubisoft, Please remove the restriction on two of the same hero being used in Brawl 2 V 2. Me and my friend are both Die Hard Knight Faction Wardens, and cannot play together as Wardens in a Brawl?! I've followed FH since announcment and have the Gold Edition Pre-Ordered. I was just shy of 3rd Prestige (Reputation) with my Warden during Closed Beta and have no intention of playing as a different character. We both have been insanely excited about playing side by side as Wardens with the Knights and play the Beta to find out you cant do that? This makes no sense to me. We are Faction Knights, and Role Players so being a Warden is a must for us. One of us has to compromise and play as something completely different which doesn't give XP or Rewards for our Wardens?! I see the similarity to games like Mortal Kombat not playing the same character. But with Customization these characters are ours. We aren't playing a named character like Raiden or something? So anyway, please for our sakes and everyone elses, remove that restriction before launch. Other than that, Beta was AMAZING! Very excited for release. 1000% Agree with this. I've left multiple brawl matches because I can't play the character I want. It makes zero sense to me on why you would restrict a multiple of a class choice in only one out of three game modes.Originally Posted by Maclane0911 Go to original post
If they want to lock something in 2v2 have a variation of each game mode that is faction locked where you can only play for the faction you pledged too.

100% Agree here, great point i actually forgot to put in my own post. The reason i forgot about it? because my first attempt at a brawl someone chose my ONLY character i was using and i could no longer chose my character, needless to say it was a VERY Bad losing experience, and frustrated knowing this would keep happening over and over, i never played brawl again AT ALL.
You will have the stats i am sure for Brawls, i belive it will reflect this point perfectly as i think the whole comunity will Agree on this one.
Remove the restriction = improve your came two fold!

I second this, I don't see why they did this. That being said I'm gonna play warden and conqueror - lawbringer too if I like him - so I suppose I can deal with it...

I'll second this. I do plan on "maining" two classes, but this system definitely led to some unneeded bickering between my friends and myself over who plays what.
It didn't really seem to serve much of a purpose either, other than possibly diversifying the playing field. If it was for "lore" reasons, I point to Dominion and being able to fill the whole team with the same character if you wanted to.

All exceptionally valid points. Removing the Restriction will fix many headaches Ubisoft! So please! Before launch drop this restriction. Continue agreeing friends! Hopefully they'll see this. Ubisoft, people can play as whatever they want if you drop this restriction therefore making your "Games Left" go down, therefore helping your "None Dedicated" (Hint, Hint) servers out, allowing friends and randoms alike to enjoy it the way they wish too, and the list of reasons why it should be done goes on, while the list of reasons it shouldn't be done stays at a 1 for diversity on the field. Keep it goin guys, maybe Ubisoft will see this, at some point!

I completely agree with this. There is zero reason you both shouldnt be able to play wardens. I plan to be having 2 mains, but still if I am level 20 on my Raider I am going to want to play him to be able to prestige him. The other 2 unshown game modes may make this less of an issue but that is yet to be seen. I came into the beta thinking since I picked Vikings as my faction I would only be able to play Viking classes. So that was a welcome surprise when I discovered I could play as any hero. But being able to play any hero should mean your able to play any hero. Not exclude duplicate heroes in only brawl.

This needs to happen, As customisation is so big anyway you make your hero your own, All knights would look the same when fighting in battle anyway, Bit silly that two knights with swords cant fight side by side. That's how the typical knight would look, and you can do it in 4V4 so why not 2v2

Didn't know this was even a thing! Luckily my friends chose different charecters to main so I have not come across this yet but it will be very frustrating when it does happen. Please change this ASAP. Thank you!
