How will the game mechanics differ from Division?

I'm really excited about Wildlands, but at the same time I was really disappointed with The Division.

In the Wildlands gameplay video I saw some similarities to The Division (like reloading indicator).
Maybe, asking what will be different would require a too long answer so I will ask: which aspects that are not common TPS features will Wildlands be doing in a very similar waay as The Division?

    In my question, I include:

    - Enemy IA
    - Difference between difficulty modes
    - Weapon and character customization
    - RNG involved in the LOOT system (if there is any in Wildlands)
    - Any other features that are convenient to explain.

    Thanks!

There is no loot system in Wildlands. Wildlands is not a RPG (Stat based game) aka you don't need to empty 2 mags into the enemy to down them

OMG I'm really pleased to hear that. IMHO, RNG is the worst thing some games have. It only leads to frustration and repetitiveness. Do you know anything about the other points?

Ghost difficulty is the highest difficulty, one shot will kill you. Enemy AI is significantly better at reacting on Ghost as well.

Weapons and character customisations: there are a few videos on YT that showcase this feature quite well. Gunsmith returns from Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and is significantly better/improved.

Enemy AI behaviour changes with the difficulty setting you play the game at. Also on the Ghost difficulty settings it takes 1 or 2 bullets to get you killed

And here is a video of the customization: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wPZw324-BI&t

So it looks like the only common features with The Division will be aesthetic? Am I right? If so, it will be a buy on my side for sure!

This game is not even close to The Division. It even uses a different engine so it doesn't even look similar.

So no gear/weapons/rewards gated behind more difficult content?

Here's a small vid of the Gunsmith: https://youtu.be/UAzy6iDYLiU?t=554

Also, yeah, the game is nothing like The Division at all. There's bullet travel and bullet drop physics and a weather/day/night cycle that actually impacts gameplay.

You'll get some rewards and so on for defeating the Cartel bosses and so on. But that's often par for the course. Nothing like the Division though.

Weapons are in weapon cases scattered around the map. But i think that some of the gear is mission based and anyway the gear is purely cosmetic. So no nothing will be locked out
