So this will be a non-linear, but linear game?..

I think that most of the players in this game is gonna do the game this way:

    - While they might not start in the first region where the game begins (but probably will!), after exploring, or whatever, the region the player is in at the time, will be the region where he does all the missions on offer before moving on. Then he moves on to the next region, and completes everything there.. And why wouldnt he?

I doubt anybody is going to complete a few missions, lets say 2 out of 7 in a region, and then goes to another region..

This makes this game kind of a linear game. And just to be clear, this is not a bad thing, just a consequence of how the game is designed.

What do you think or plan on doing? Will you go from mission to mission, the linear path, or will you be all over the place?

Good question. I'm likely to approach the first region fairly surgically to begin with, see if I can get some new weapons and grab some attachments -- then I'll broaden my scope and see what other regions have to offer.

The entire map is unlocked from the beginning. So, it's not like a new region "unlocks" after you complete the previous region. The game definitely has a structure that you COULD follow, but you also don't HAVE to. You can take it on in any way that you want.

I was led to believe that the Cartel is dived into 4 pillars. Security, Influence, Production and Logistics. Each pillar has its own regions, missions, bosses and under bosses.

Essentially depending on what pillar / section you go after is your business. Personally I'm hunting down the Logistical assets first, as I suspect that will put the Cartel at the greatest disadvantage early on in the game. You can have all the guns and drugs in the world, but if you cant move them what are they good for?

One of the things that I really like about Wildlands actually, the open map.

Yes I know that. But like the single player video from Ubi. They are heading for a new region before bowman comes in over radio to offer a new mission in the region they are currently in. I am just stating that most players probably will follow this new mission and therefor complete every mission a region have before going to a new...

This is correct. So you can choose to take out an entire pillar, or just the lower tiers of all the pillars first... the options and different ways you can go about things is almost endless.

Main missions are to eliminate the boss of each regions, you don't have to complete a region to go to another one as Keeba said all regions are unlocked but to move forward in the story you need to eliminates those bosses and there's no priorities on them. Just the fact that if you eliminate one first and not that one it change the outcome of the final mission if i'm not mistaken but Keeba can correct me if i'm wrong.

I might not even take on the missions at all. I might just find a nice Bolivian girl in a village somewhere and stay with her. Maybe take a dirt bike up to the mountains at weekends and do some base jumps, or go watch the flamingos.

See... I am not the only one that will go on snowmobile rides and take on the slopes.

But if the goal is to eliminate the bosses, please don't tell me we have Boss Fights (oh the horror)... how can we pegged them against each other? I guess the game comes with a book that tells the whole story? Mighty confusing this big open world thing.
