You're completely wrong: the problem currently is that there are some classes BETTER than other. And they're better under every single point of view, to the point where if you want to win you need to use those classes instead of what you like. I've already made a long post about it, but the thing is: you should not be forced to use what is better, you should be able to use what you like. And the fact that assassins are overused is a clear sign of them being overpowered. It's annoying when every single duel you join is always against Orochi, Peacekeeper or the japanese with the polearm (I'll never remember her name!) because they're so easy to use and so hard to parry that they give you an unfair advantage.
Light characters right now are too powerful because they have no backlash if they simply keep attacking. The directions they will attack from can't be predicted, and at that point it's up to the defender to survive, and not to the attacker to actually EARN the victory. That's not how it should work.

What the game needs is interface and controlls tweaks, like allowing controller keys to be remapped, and an expansion on the faction warfare, which is way too primitive at the moment.

What the game doesn't need is dumbing down.
Shallow games never hold their audience for long, they get boring in an instant.

Should be "there are classes im BAD against" there.
And thats normal - one who wants to best others needs to practice.

I will disagree mate. There is no better classes then others, the thing is, you should learn first of all, you character + and -, then you should start to understand what weaknesses every character had. Like, i am playing at orochi everytime, my main class and for me it's extremely difficult to fight with conquerer or warlord (of course if they are skilled players), cuz they can block almost every my atack and use it against me, so i study to only dodge atack them or try to unblock them and hit and run, but against peacekeeper or nobusi this tactics will not be useful, cuz it's difficult to dodge and atack them everytime, cuz they are faster enough to dodge you too and etc... You should learn how to play, every char has his weakness.
I am only complaning about poison atacks of peacekeeper or nobusi, this should be nerfed a little, that's all.

i second the OP with 100% ... THIS is exactly what is happening.

Ubisoft had the balls to make a very in-depth game with a steep learning curve and now all the sheep that are used to piss-easy games that were thrown at us for years now (dark souls fans excluded ^^) cant man up and invest more than 2h into learning something new.

this is the same thing that is wrong with the current generation: the need for instant gradification is too damn freaking high!
**** participation trophies and learn how to tackle the world !

This is why multiplayer gaming is dying out people can't take a challenge! Nothing is wrong with any of the characters infact I'm actually surprised at how balanced they are considering that its a Beta. Honestly if your not a competitve gamer and you play to win and not develope any type of skill then this game isnt for you. And its not the character its how you use them... I play Orochi there are different buffs and feats so everyone uses him differently. Skill is required to play this game and if you dont want to challenge yourself go play call of poopy infinite crapfares and leave our beautiful game alone.

Exactly. I feel this game needs to be played on an MkII arcade machine with six buttons. People need to see that every hero has a strength AND a weakness. You need to put the time in to actually be any good, and not just button spam.

    Totally Agree!

ALL of these people have not logged enough time into the game or do not have the skill level to be able to utilize this game to its full potential. These people are casual gamers that have come into the Beta expecting to be able to decimate everyone else. At this point I would ask that Ubisoft seriously consider the people that will be playing this game for its difficulty level and logging in the hours and time to be able to play at a high level and utilize all aspects of their character to its full potential.

If the game is changed in order to cater to the people that "can't predict a guard break and then counter" so that the counter window is longer and it's easier to counter, then people who actually have the skill and ability to counter now, will just end up playing in fights where counter is extremely too easy ( AND the same bad players that are complaining now about how hard it is to counter will be complaining about how easy it is to be countered because high level players will counter them every time due to the increased duration.). High level 1v1 is currently extremely balanced and gives an amazing ability to fight all other classes.

There is currently a solution to all situations and an alarming rate of people who; have no skill and don't even look at their move set and don't practice against bots, complaining about the game's skill level and OPness of this character or that or how hard everything is.

YES this game IS difficult. GOOOOOOD it's not supposed to be easy! You all just want to be able to never lose a 1v1 and win against every other person and then go into dominion and 1v3 everyone. If you were actually able to do this that would mean that the game is UNBALANCED because you could win every fight no matter what. Ideally if the game is 100% balanced, against a person of equal skill level you would only win 50% of the time.....so stop complaining about how the game is so difficult because all you are doing is pointing out how bad you are at the game.
    I agree.
But I have to say, in some cases, if you are playing on PC without joystic, the imput lag of Keyboard+mouse will hurts you, and make your character not response your command (be whatever char), however, ever that it happens, you have a chance to counter your opponent being a real good player, with your own skills in dodge, parry and counter another attack, and this way, do your advantage over your opponents.
We must consider than how much you play, and practice your game and your character/class, much more you're able to understand some situations on battlefield, and make the sure decision to be able in combat.
Of course, we will see so many bad players in FH Forums telling us how much OP is certain char/class, or how much Ubisoft have to nerf certain char/class because they are unable to play with total properties of the choosen char/class by theyselves. Just because this tipe of player do not make their time in game an advantage.
I'm sure that real players (minor) will play this game on their total capabilities, and the most of players that buy this game will cry a lot in forums about FH and Ubisoft Forums... Mark my words, so many players will claim to nerf the most of DPS classes (Nobushi, Valkyrie and Pacekeeper principaly), but we know why...

I agree completely, the game needs to be hard. I don't want it to be easy.

I completely agree, people need to learn how to fight their characters stronger counterpart.
Nobushi also have a huge weakness, they have very weak defence, learn it, use it, beat it.
