Does a raw Heavy into Deep Gouge do more damage or have less animation frames than a Dashing Thrust + Deep Gouge or something? I would assume they're exactly the same damage.Originally Posted by Kroma- Go to original post
I wasn't gonna comment on this thread since I'm not that experienced with the PK but when you say things like "I would assume" when talking about YOUR class, not to mention linking to that cartoonz ******bag, you do lose some credibility.Originally Posted by Kintoun Go to original post
I believe him to be wrong. I was being nice. If you don't have anything meaningful to contribute or nice to say, you're right, you should not have posted. Ignoring someone's research because they're a "******bag" is petty. This isn't a thread about "Hey what PK players do you like!?" And PK isn't "MY" class. What does that even mean? I only wanted a guide up ASAP to help people, geez.Originally Posted by Egotistic_Ez Go to original post

I didn't want to post at first but now I have to thank you OP for the guide, and the time you put in. Much appriciated info as I plan to main PK. Also, please don't be bothered with 'egotistic' users in this forum. I'm sure it helped/will help many players that will not post anything as a thank you.
See you on the battlefield!

"that cartoonz *****bag" happens to be the leader of the Knights faction, so linking him is quite relevant, I believe. Not to mention that you're making a painfully obvious Appeal to Spite and possibly Genetic Fallacy with that statement.Originally Posted by Egotistic_Ez Go to original post
Comment based on the content, not presumptuous personal preference.

That being said, this guide is very good. In all my 22 hours of playing the PK during the Closed Beta, I didn't realize that you could actually chain the Deep Gouge after the Heavy, I thought it was specifically a Heavy feint, requiring you to cancel the heavy attack. That leads to a lot more combo ability for the PK, and I really like the Heavy+Gouge after GB idea. I'm really glad they reverted the PK Grab+Stab nerf, but if they do decide to nerf it again I'll at least have this tool in my bag of tricks! I'm curious as to how well it stacks up compared to the full triple-stab damage now that the nerf is reverted.
Most in the know are claiming it is a confirmed bug. However since there is so much misinformation flowing around it is hard to actually tell.Originally Posted by Dark-Thomy Go to original post
Either way, the rumor is that tapping block in the direction of the stabs at the same cadence, apparently is how you "block" the stabs.
In other news, apparently the Peacekeeper we saw in the pre-Open Beta Faction War event was not the Peacekeeper we got in Open Beta. Bleed damage has not been nerfed. I will update the guide (again) to reflect this.
