    Favourite/ Best Classes & Heroes

The Beta has been over for about 4 and 1/2 hours as of writing this. I can't wait for February 14th and play this game for many enjoyable hours. I love it already (just so you all know). However, this thread is about the classes that I am best with and to see who you guys are good with and maybe some tips on how to get better with other classes.

So my two best classes are Vanguards (especially The Raider) and my absolute best class is the Heavies. Especially The Warlords and The Conquerors. I can't wait to play The Shugoki in the full game. I like The Vanguards because they're the class for wiping out soldiers in Dominion and they're the ultimate class for beginners. When you're just starting out... play The Warden, The Raider or The Kensei. They are truly well-balanced classes. My favourite Vanguard though, is The Raider. A badass look, great gear that you can unlock (that skull helmet, though!) and the rush and throw ability, which is truly one of the best abilities in the game. Use this to get an enemy out of a zone in Dominion, toss 'em over an edge for a kill or get them out of the way so you can revive an ally. The Warden's are also really well-balanced, and they have a bad-*** unlock able ornament. Never got around to playing The Kensei in The Beta but I did play them in The Alpha and they are good as well. As I said, though my heart belongs to The Heavies... especially those Warlords... my goodness the sheer fun I had when I rushed an opponent with my shield and knocked 'em over a ledge was an absolute delight. Also, The Conqueror has the most bad-*** executions in the game (in my opinion). The loot you can pick up for The Conqueror, will before him/her look like the human equivalent of a snapping turtle. Both these heroes have EXCELLENT defence and their big health pool isn't a bad addition either. If you want to hold down a zone, get some mercilessly powerful strikes on your enemies or counter-attack like it's your job, go with the heavies. A basketball coach once told me "Offence wins games, defence wins championships". Like I said, I can't wait to knock some dudes around with my Kanabo in the full game.

Like I said, I'd love to know your guys' best/favourite classes and tips you might have for mastering the other ones.

    -Peace

My favorite class is my Samurai masta, the KENSEI!

I dont think hes the strongest, however I like his style, and I'm not one to spread myself too thin and play multiple heroes, I chose a hero I like and I stick him it until I am the best I can be.

As with any multiplayer game balance changes constantly change which classes are strongest, so I just stick it out with 1 and keep rolling.

Best classes at the moment in my opinion would be Orochi and Raider, Warden is also a very strong option.

These are opinions based on high level duels with skilled players only.

I feek ya, I think it's worth it to invest in mastering a class rather then try to be a jack of all trades. Once you have a class down in muscle memory, it really starts to get fun at that point. I only had one day with the beta, but I feel in love with the Peacekeeper. I wanted speed and agility and to focus on counters (how I play Dark Souls basically) and it was a good fit for my style. I feel like I still had a lot to master with her, but after hours of practice parrying with AI, multiplayer was a bast and I felt like I was holding my own pretty solid.

Unfortunately the Lawbringer class was not in the beta, and even though its the opposite of the Peacekeeper, thats probably going to be my first build once the game comes out. And I'll probably work on a Peacekeeper build on the side too for when I'm feeling frisky. ha

I specifically played the Knight classes through this beta (lacked incentive to play aught else) with a specific focus on the Conqueror followed up by the Warden.

Honestly the Conqueror was made for me with its defensive style and capability to get enemies moved around the arena. There will be dozens of players who complain that there is no skill in playing defensively nor in using certain combinations of attacks and grapples to secure effective attacks. I prefer tank characters (pure and simple) DPS type characters with high damage are worthless if they can't get through a solid defense and frankly only good for shortening the time it takes to do a task any other character could do given patience.

The Warden was a great second character to master for its utility and amazing Dominion perks. Thick Blood how you have saved me from assassins and Catapult how you have laid aggressive teams!

Tried all the classes, Warlord instantly got me hooked. Cleary defined strengths and weakness, an "oh sh*t" button aka full block, a slow big dude with suddenly fast and explosive combos that you wouldn't expect.

I instantly got hooked on the Conqueror and played it almost exclusively.
I tried a bit of Nobushi and Peacekeeper, but the tanky, defensive Conqueror gameplay is the right one for me. Would really love to try out the Lawbringer, if I end up buying the game.

    Kensei and Warlord for me.

The warlord should be renamed to housecarl or something though. "The Warlod" is a pretty lame name.

    Berzerker hands down.

He takes some time to get use to, but is so rewarding and to me the most fun hero to play
Really like the Warlod aswell though

    Nobushi

The Nobushi surprised me. I was thinking Berserker before the beta. But The Nobushi!! OMG what a hero. I loved the way she played. Dodging attacks, long range, fast attacks, easy to disengage from fights and not to mention hidden stance.
