    Parry into guaranteed guard break doesn't work on all characters?

    Tested this, if you parry an attack and then follow with the guaranteed guard break it doesn't work against Kensei and Nobushi but seems to work against everyone else. Instead of tracking your opponent after the parry and getting the guard break, your character just stands there and guard breaks the air against those 2 characters.

    I don't think this can be intended so just wanted to make sure this is known. Especially for Kensei players who like to finish everything with the top heavy unblockable, you need to be able to get the best reward for parrying it. Yes you can just dodge it or even sneak in a light attack and beat it but if I'm playing peacekeeper I want to get my parry > guardbreak > stab punish. When fighting Nobushi you have to get in on her so if you can successfully parry you should be rewarded with that positioning.

    If anyone has had any other results with this please let me know and if this has been posted before I apologize.

    Is it possible that lag was a factor when testing vs these 2 heroes? Seems kinda random to me.

    And I'm not gonna use my unblockable top heavy, so your not gonna parry it, I'm gonna switch stances before it lands

    I tested many, many times in custom matches with 2 different friends and it simply never worked on those 2 characters.

    We considered the push-back thing but the parry push-back looks the same on everyone and we tested with the initial attack coming from as close as possible.

    We even tested against a wall so that there was no push-back and the guard break simply didn't track and whiffed.

    I don't parry no*****es. Too far out or range to do anything. So with peacekeeper I just focus on blocking and deflect.

    Deflect is nice with peacekeeper but a successful parry gets you a guard break and triple stab which is a heck of a lot more guaranteed damage than the deflect poke you get. So I was leaning much more towards parries than deflects personally.

    I was unable to reach nobushi after a parry with a GB. So I stopped bothering and just went deflects. Plus the GB stabs can be parried "aka stopped" by the defender whereas the deflect stab is gauranteed (even against super armor but you trade then anyway).

    I would just really love to know if it's a bug with those characters or if it's intended / there's some reason for it that I've overlooked.

    I confirm for nobushi and shoguki. theses 2 are the only two i can't reach with a parry+grab

    (Shoguki was available in last beta)

    What we have to realise is, characters are strong against some characters and weak against others.
    Every character shouldn't be able to parry or deflect or GD every single character in the game.
    If you can't do something to one character, say Nobushi due to her range, deal with it and figure out another way to fight her.
    Every move should not be effective against every character, it's why they have strengths and weaknesses.
